Private shaped my preference for anal/DP porn and helped fix me for DAP, thus I am still very nostalgic about them.
I doubt however that move really gives LP access to a larger talent pool again. Quite a few former LP girls like Katrin Tequila quitted LP and went to Private, but I doubt we will see them back at LP now. At least in case of DDF it doesnt work from soft to hard, only from hard to soft. Same I'd sadly expect for today's Private. While I hope for the opposite of course!

This is great news. Private was a pinnacle studio back in the '90s and early 2000's. They have a great content library, and their past performance has given them a huge market share in Europe, but they had not been making very interesting content in recent years and had fallen behind the curve on innovation. With any luck, this buy-out will be a much-needed shot in the arm.

There's definitely value in it for dudes like me who remember the great models of the past. Nothin' like a good nostalgia trip. There was some really great porn produced back then, especially in the late 90's to early 2000's range when JYL was in his prime and anal was just breaking into the mainstream. The performances were just as intense as anything you could find nowadays, although the sex acts were not as extreme. I would not make the mistake of writing off the great movies of the past simply because they're old and not up to today's technical standards.

I'm not sure what kind of value one could ascribe to low-res porn for young audiences (in the 18-25 age range), but there is definitely value in it for the rest of us.
