Where is Sir Noel´s topic about ending his LP membership after many years? Seems like it was deleted by the admins. Why? Because of too many comments, who agreed with Sir Noel, that there´s too less creativity, too less hardcore porn and too much assembly line production with robotic fucking on LP lately? That would be really silly as this is a forum where positive AND negative feedback should be possible.

Am I wrong or was the topic really deleted? At least I can´t find it anymore...

Last I saw of it that thread went into a discussion about incest porn. I’m not a fan of censorship but maybe that’s why it got deleted.

It was not deleted because it was a complaint about the lack of creativity which I partially agree on. It was deleted because it was a hugely dramatic thread and title (and remember most people just read titles and a couple lines), and the real complaint was that we didn't shoot real incest with those new twins. On top of that people started to post links to real incest.

And in general I don't like to see people try to use our forum against us.

Sounds like pure censorship to me.

As far as I remember from reading Sir Noel's now deleted post, it was a complaint about two things:
1) Lack of creativity in LP scenes
2) Lack of two-girl scenes featuring lots of ATM and ATOGM

The pseudo-cest angle was a minor point.

And he wasn't trying to use the forum against you. He was trying to prompt a reaction to get LP to become more creative again and to get you to bring back really good two-girl scenes.

Wotan is right to raise this censorship issue.

That is not how I understood the post.

So.... That's what happened.

To me, it doesn't look like anything said
on this forum, actually has any impact on LP's ability to make money.

I like drama, I wanted to post on SirNoel thread,
because I felt similar when I canceled my membership, but ultimately,
I thought "what is the point?"

Also noticed that there were no signs from his latest posts
that he was unhappy with LP.

Like some of his most recent post were
in the lines of "scene of the year" kind of thing.

I didn't really dig into his posts too much tho.

But I thought, this cancelation seems to come out of nowhere.

Anyways.

It's hard to tell, by just watching the trailers
but Luis seems to have changed his directing style
in a way that doesn't allow his actors to be themselves.

In one of the recent releases, there is a part in the trailer,
where Ian Scott is, I kid you not, he is yawning.

And, well in general, the guys are just fucking
in the most robotic way imaginable.

Or maybe the guys just don't care anymore, lol.

Or the guy doing the trailers just doesn't like porn, and picks the most boring parts, lol.

Newbie girls rarely look like they are having fun,
that I kinda expect to happen, but, when not even the guys are having fun, the whole thing seems dead.

I want to illustrate my post with examples, of actors having fun.

I didn't read all of the thread in question but I will just say that some censorship of the forum wouldn't seem totally unreasonable to me. I'd hope @xxx etc felt there was some benefit to constructive criticism but there are limits to the level of criticism I'd expect to be left on their forum.

Keep in mind that LP forum is not a democracy. Also LP owns all postings and can do what they like with them. Clearly there are subjects even too taboo even for LP (scat & incest come to mind).

Complaints about quality of scenes I think are fair game though. I would hope LP realizes the value of constructive criticism. Such criticism is meant to improve LP, not tear it down.

Agree with sentiments that deleting a post is not exactly infringing anyone’s human rights.
This is the forum of a porn site, owned and run by a business.
I’m amazed by how much negativity is allowed to remain and fester on here in general.
Constructive criticism is obviously fine but the tone, especially from people who are not even members, is often fucking hysterical.

As it was my post that was deleted I will just add a couple of points.

The comparison I made that got the thread deleted was with a direct response comment to xxx mentioning two recent scenes on the websites 21Sextury and Private. I had not realised they were producing illegal incest porn but there you go, you have heard it from xxx mouth. We should all be careful though, because every other act shown on this website is illegal in some country or other and so the discussion of anything from pissing, to anal to porn itself is discussing illegality in some juristiction, something xxx cannot abide.

Secondly, the post was really made because I have ended my memberships here but I DO care about the site and I think any sensible website ought to take note when members of many years standing leave. I was leaving (that said, I still have 150 tickets between my 2 accounts) and I wanted to explain where I feel this site is falling behind. It has always been very weak in some areas (intros, sets, variety) but strong in others but that those strengths seem to be diminishing in many ways as the scenes become ever more channelled into formulaic routines. I aimed the comments at the likes of xxx himself. If he just sees it as "drama" and over the top and wishes to delete it then I have my answer and it really isn't anything I would worry about too much :-)

It is not easy to find the right spot between giving people what they are used to and expect, and innovating. For example the white room can get very boring to some, but to others, it's a must. It is also not easy for a director who shoots a lot of scenes to bring new ideas all the time. It's much easier for sites that release only once in a while (but would you like that we release less?). That being said I think we have to bring in more fresh ideas.

A better way to reduce the workload for the director would be to bring in another one (or even more). Gonzo used to have two directors for a long time and even Giorgio relies on a assistant director right now. And he also brings in content from external directors for "Giorgios Lab".
Maybe Gonzo could do the same thing. Like for exempla a Colombian based director to shoot more scenes with the very popular Colombian babes.

I was not a big fan of Stephano but i do think that Gonzo over all released better and more varied content back when both of them where working. It is obvious to me that Luis is becoming a bit burnt out and this is starting to show in hes scenes.

What I value the most is effort to make the scene better, and I always reward it. What we are getting is effort to make the scene cheaper and simpler to shoot.

Just for myself, fewer scenes wouldn't on the face of it be a bad thing if it meant that those that were produced were better. I realise 'better' will mean different things to different people but I'm doubtful many members are so desperate for content that they buy everything that is produced? I don't think so.

Becoming more creative requires you to change the process. Not the time.
Becoming more creative requires you to try new things, not really spend more or less time.

Reducing the release content might result into better cumshots,
if the guys, don't just work for other studios during "off days".

But reducing content might also reduce income for actors and producers.

For the actors, is standard that they get paid based of the number of scenes they participate in,
so reducing the release schedule will directly impact their wallets.

For fans it seems pretty clear that some people buy the niches, and are not model based.
Some people only buy DAP, some only DP, some only interracial, some only pissing, etc.

So, by reducing the output, those fans who only buy certain content,
will have to wait longer and longer.

And that will cause some more niches to disappear,
because one will sell better than the other.
just like kreme or lesbian, or to a certain extent, multi-girl scenes.

Unless I'm missing something.

I think a way for creativity to kick in better
is for directors to copy ideas from each other,
but with the intent of improving it, evolve it.

But at the same time, what XXX said about the white room is so true
and some people will not like that their favorite directors change things up.

I think creativity is really hard if producers are not willing to gamble money.

I think it's a myth that democracy doesn't censor. Because even in ancient Greek democracy, Socrates was famously sentenced to death for saying unpopular things. It happens in today's democracies too.

But this censorship needs to be done in a transparent way, where people can check out for themselves what was censored and read some explanation from the censor of why it was censored. Because if you don't know what was censored and why, then your imagination is the limit about the extent of the censorship and the motivations of the censors.

2 girls scenes are not well supported in general if we do not pick the performers from the highest part of the top list. This is not possible to do every time, I make is simple:
- we shoot several 2 girls scenes knowing we will be losing money
- we do not shoot 2 girls scenes often

I mean, you do not need 2 degree to understand if we do not shoot often scenes with 2 girls is because it is not much profitable. What is the difference for us between to shoot 1 model or 2 in the same scene? Nothing, its even more easy and often more fun and fast. We do not do it because it is not worth most of the time.

In the last 2 months many scenes made it to the top 100 ever, who complains about lack of good content is probably whining a bit too much imho

Well Adriano is very successful and you could tap into that market and steal some business from him. You don't need to appeal to exactly the same old bunch of customers with every video. You can afford to experiment and try to attract new customers. What is the risk?

Do you know if there has been a poll here on the subject? You may well be right but I'd be interested to know. The few times I have seen a guy licking a gape in a scene I've personally found it hot, in part because the girls seem to appreciate and enjoy it too.

I'm not really a fan of Mike Adriano's scenes as they're generally limited in terms of the amount of actual anal sex, and particularly its intensity. Hard fucking LP scenes that includes men licking gapes would be a very different thing to me.

Just 4 examples:
- Best ranked scene with BELLE CLAIRE: #40 (released 2016; just one other scene in Top 100)
- Best ranked scene with ARWEN GOLD: #59 (released 2015; just one other scene in Top 100))
- Best ranked scene with TIMEA BELLA: #78 (released 2018; one of her last scenes, no other one in Top 100)
- Best ranked scene with JULY SUN: no scene in the Top 200 at all!

It´s obvious, that all scenes with those 4 models would have more purchasers if they were shot TODAY, not years ago. In comparison it is a little bit ridiculous to see what scenes are in the Top 50 (just for example Jillian Janson and Lola Fae, both only because of much more purchaser from the USA since 2018). i´m pretty sure, that a brilliant series like your "Clockwork Gang" (not even in Top 100!) with amazing Belle Claire - shot today (not years ago) - would maybe even overtake all those Veronica Leal scenes at the top. So I repeat myself: More new scenes in the Top 100 is simply due to the fact, that there are more LP customers nowadays compared to 2015. It is NOT a proof for good or even excellent content.

There should be a somehow reasonable algorithm, which takes into account the year of production in relation to the number of sales.

But LP is not very good in creating algorithms...

Just take a look at the "most popular models" ranking:
Jillian Janson ranked #3 with only one scene for American Anal. In contrast to that some really very popular LP models who each shot tons of scenes, are ranked far behind. Just 4 examples: Time Bella #29, Belle Claire #30, Francys Belle #98, Brittany Bardot #125 (!). That´s unfair and totally falsifying. You have to take into account HOW MANY good seeling scenes a model shot, not simply just take the one best selling scene of a model (especially if she shot only one scene...)

I am buying older scenes because there are more of them to my taste. I want more girls in the scenes and then I have to buy old ones.

Yes they may only be in HD but that is ok. The oldest ones are too bad quality but the script is often great. There are many scenes I would like to see done exactly the same way with different girls.

Unfortunately buying the old scenes sends no signal into the system.
