What is the time limit taken into consideration when LP evaluates if a scene is selling well or not ?

In other words, how many hours / days after the release the sales are evaluated ?

I was wondering the same because I also buy older scenes when I have found a new girl I like and I may not want her to disappear.

In fast wast and easy way (because it is more complex than what i will write).
When a scene gets released, the scene gets ranked according to sales "hour by hour" and climb the page called "Best Recent Scene". So, in general, the fastest the scene arrives on the top of "Best Recent Scene", the more the scene is selling well (on the day the scene is released)
This give your an idea of how a scene is selling already the first day.

Than, when the first day is concluded, an algorithm calculate the "rank of the scene" (for example for the page "Best scenes of the current month"). The algorithm is very smart and somehow "predict" the future ranking. In this way, for example the "Best scenes of September", represent a ranking of the scene ignoring if a scene has been released from 2 or 25 days.
Of course the ranking gets adjusted day by day, but in general the ranking generate on the first day is already pretty close to what will be the ranking after 30 days. It can change +/- 10% or so.

Technically I should explain all of this in different way, but your would not understand, so the way I explained is a easy way to explain a more complex process.

The scenes are continuously re-ranked based on the latest data. But as Giorgio said they are also ranked based on a prediction starting from the very first day.

So why than Giorgio as well as now just recently also Joachim claim that for sales 1st day is deciding day?
Don't get that!
If it was like xxx said no day would be more important than any other day.
Giorgio however described algorithm like based 90% on 1st sale day results. If it wasnt like this rank and thus sales could change a lot and not only 10% as Giorgio writes above.

Btw, question is crucial to me: Because if it doenst benefit studio ifI buy later than first 24h after release I dont make "solidarity shoppings" for girls or directors anymore in future!

I have Joachim and Giorgio understood in a way, that based on experience from the past, a video, that sells good in the first few hours/the first day will also sell good in the following weeks. And also from experience, a video with poor sales in the first few hours, won't become a bestseller in the following weeks.
So Joachim saw, that the yesterday video didn't sell good enough for him the first few hours and then he knows, that it will not sell much better the next weeks.
