Lets assume LP would like to create an updated tag system.
What is missing for a really good & useful tag system?

Currently we have these tags:

Which ones could be deleted?
And which ones need to be added?

For me:

Delete!
I think hair color is changing often anyway, thus blonde, brunette, black could be deleted. Leave/add natural "redhead", though.
deepthroat - most times sort of given anyway
first time - too fussy to establish, and LP numeration shows anyway which scenes was shot first on LP
huge toys - most times given anyway
rough - used too often, better define it clearly and replace by "manhandle"
sex toy - is always there

Personally I dont need these genre infos, but I realize others might need them still - although often it seems pretty old fetishes:

How do others see that?
Please remember that tagging is time consuming process thus better in the end we have a working body of 30-50 pages than a non-working of 100-150 tags. Currently there are 44 different tags and tagging far from accurate sadly.

The teens tag is not very useful for people that are looking for girls that are actual teens.

I suggest that instead there are two new tags added, 18 yo and 19 yo.

Feel free to use the list i created in this thread as a start for creating thees tags. I can try to make it even more complete if there is an interest for this.

Or even better create an age filter where you can just select the age span you are in to. And the site then filters out the scenes based on date of birth for models and date of production for the scenes.

Number one missing feature is to EXCLUDE tags.

As it is, you can only INCLUDE tags...

Legalporno added a way to EXCLUDE scenes you already purchased from view.
That way it is easier to navigate the store and buy scenes you still don't have. GOOD change.

Do that for tags too.
SO we can 'hide' scenes that contain a niche, actress, actor, whatever makes us spew hate at the forum, lol

In my case I want to hide "pissing" so I don't feel disgusted everytime I check what's new.

HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO BUY NEW STUFF,
IF EVERYTIME I PAY A VISIT TO THE LEGALPORNO SITE
I FEEL LESS COMPELLED TO DO SO BECAUSE I JUST FEEL DISGUSTED.

Thats a good one.

Also it would be good to specify for the fisting tag if it is anal fisting or vaginal fisting.
And of course make sure that the scenes are tagged right. I know for example that there are quite a number of DPP scenes which are not tagged as DPP.

Include:
- Threesome (2 girls and 1 guy or 2 guys and 1 girl)
- 2 or more girls (scene with 2 or more girls)
- Storyline (scenes based in a storyline, already exist the "studio" filter so you can search storylines of a particular studio)
- Divided scenes (scenes divided in 2 or more parts, would be nice add some kind of links in the diferents parts to give more info and easy access to the other parts )
"Series name" (a filter to search every scene of a particular serie) eg. Waka Waka series or DAP destination.
- Natural tits
- Fake boobs
- Accesories (bowls, leash, etc)
- Domination (I dont know if can be heavy but make a diferentation of Manhandle or Womanhandle)
- Anal solo masturbation (Currently this kind of scenes are not shoot in LP but there are old scenes about this, maybe some people are interested in this)

Remove:

3+ on 1, already exist Gangbang tag for this purpose

Tagging system is complete mess and I dont think they will ever fix it. Unless they literally hire multiple people for it and invest a lot of money into it. I agree with paobroncix on the TP and DPP issue. But there are many more, the older scenes dont even have tags for the acts that are written in the title.

The worst tagged scenes are the old Gonzo ones, current GIO and IV are missing a lot of tags but it could have been worse. Surprisingly GIO studio usually have the tags right

This you can actually easily search in the model page for instance searching for scene name instead of model name.

Now as interest in DVP seems on the rise it would really help to cater better for these customers by a better tag system. Lots of old scenes could sell again!

I'd be very happy with just having the "vaginal" tag, even. It's silly to have an anal tag but no vaginal tag. AEBN has both.

Vaginal is no option sb at LP would have imagines ppl want to search for.
And obviously nobody thought of the exclusion option.

They should have a look at the IAFD search engine for instance, not take IAFD as a reference really as it is pretty shit for Eurobabes, but search options are ok.

Let's be generous towards each other. The more tags the better for everyone. No need to remove tags!

I can't stand violence and would appreciate the opportunity to sort away manhandling, face slapping and the like. I don't mind that there are those scenes for people who have those preferences.

Honestly I think IAFD is one of the most reliable sources for porn out there, you are right, they are missing some sites but considering its just a team of people who are doing it mostly for free its mindblowing how many sites and scenes they posted and wrote everything about them. You can even do advanced search for girls that do DAP for example, or Piss, DVP and stuff like that which is great to see.

I saw that they recently updated their tagging system and added even more tags for it, you can actually see triple penetration tags, even though most of the TP scenes arent tagged yet. But there are already some scenes with tags like TVP,TAP and TP.

The tag system in these reference images might not contain your particular fetish. That's not why I'm showing it really. It's more to illustrate a different kind of system. Here we have sort of MASTER HEADINGS and there are various options under each one. This is good because you can see at a glance all the things you want. It's more precise.

e.g.
Sex: anal, vaginal
Position: doggystyle regular, reverse cowgirl, standing

The issue seems to be also that the data entry is maybe being rushed. Yes, it's a boring job but from a customer standpoint - it makes quite a difference. It wouldn't matter as much in a non-ticket based system. You'd be like..."Damn! I spent 30mins downloading this video and its riddled with DP...oh well, I'll just download a different one". In a ticket based system you rely on tags - because your tickets are essentially money. So when the tags lead you somewhere you didn't want to go...you feel mislead. On the other hand, opportunity is being missed here. For example; I love NO PUSSY, STANDING POSITION and ATM (among other things); if there are videos in the archives that have these tags then I'd likely buy them all...then I would run out of tickets, and then I would most likely buy more tickets.

I like this, but you are right, it has some flaws. One thing that could be added maybe which would make tagging much harder but it would definitely improve the system and people would know exactly what they are buying. I found it only on site Brazzers, I am really not a fan of their porn but their tagging system is great. They tell in description of the scene how long does each part of the scene last. So you can see exactly how long of ATM you are getting, or DAP, DVP, Foreplay...

This, combined with the photo you posted would be absolutely ideal tagging system, and I think they could even cancel screenshots if they started using this system. So we dont see whole scene without buying it( but we will know what is in the scene without any photos)

incidentally, the tag system I see is inclusive, not exclusive. I dont want to tick 1v1 and anal and see all 1v1 scenes and all anal scenes, which is how it works for me. I want to see all the scenes that are both 1v1 and anal, not either or.

Yeah I would like to have a lot of tags under all scenes, so you can filter the content you want to see. So you can combine the tags and search for exactly what you want. And also something like excluding other tags would be cool.

For example, lets say I want to see Interracial, Double Vag with young model. So I would tick these 3 tags and scenes woudl show up. But then I would see that half of them are with two girls and milfs, and some have piss. So I would exclude tags "Milf" and "piss". And then I would see what I want to see

This is my dream of what the tagging system should be like, right now its far from the reality.

INCLUDE and EXCLUDE options for any tag is a must for really good tag system which could get few new ones like:
- NO TATTOO
- GIRL-GIRL FISTING
- GIRL-GIRL KISSING
or some no-nos like
- ANYTHING including man's feet & similar
- TATTOO
... you got a picture. This way it would be easier for everybody.

May I make a radical suggestion? How about the ability to have a tag system that ELIMINATES what I am not interested in?
I like so many things on Legal Porn but have a few turn-offs that I'd prefer not to see. Of course, I appreciate that they are a big turn-on for others, but, for example, a scene with pissing ruins my sexual high so I'm not really interested in that scene.
I bet it's possible to have a really great tag system where you could choose like/dislike/or neutral. That would be a magnificent time=saver for my hunting for the next porn video I buy. Thanks!

I would like to add my voice to the calls for a tag EXCLUSION system.

Also, I would like to set certain tags to include and certain tags to exclude as the default for my Store view. I have no problem with the existence of TS porn or the fact that some viewers are into it, but I would like to exclude TS porn altogether.

Lastly, I would prefer not to remove any existing tags, but add some more: oral creampie, no condom. If there is a tag exclusion feature, then I would suggest only tag the videos with condom and we could exclude those.

Perhaps the most important action would simply to make sure all videos are reviewed and tagged appropriately. Sometimes some videos that are one on one are not actually tagged "1 on 1".
