POLL: Did you celebrate Int. Women's Day March 8th and how?

March 8th was International Womens Day.
Especially in Eastern Europe its an important holiday still.
Lots of guys start that day with 'С праздником, красавица!' and flowers for their GFs and all girls basically.
Here in this forum I was surprised how little popular March 8th is:
https://www.legalporno.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=96&t=21764&p=235416&hilit=International#p235416
Still wondering...
So let me just ask in a poll!
3 options, 10 days to vote.
Take the options closest to what you did.

Didn’t celebrate, no holiday over here and my partner is out of the country. Not gonna buy flowers for myself.
Did get a few remarks from my female colleagues so sacrificed myself and made a few coffee runs. But that’s about it.

In my country, 8th of March is widely celebrated - many men buy flowers or other presents for their GFs, wifes, mothers, sisters etc.
I don't do it for two reasons :
1) I don't have any woman in my life.
2) It's a total hypocrisy. You respect the women all-year-long or you don't respect them at all. Each kind of feast celebrated once per year is bullshit.

I party agree, Zizi.
But ideally I'd say you respect women all year long of course and on March 8th you do an additional more traditional thing, like the flowers, best wishes etc.
Just empty meaningless holiday is no sense of course.
Actually a lot of Slavic LP girls had something special on March 8th on their social media.
And lots of porn girls gratulated each other - from girl to girl!

Funny, I've been to most Eastern European countries (Bulgaria and Serbia the exceptions), but I never knew this. Interesting.

a fundraiser evening event (bands, burlesque, raffle, club) at my local lefty venue.
i'm pretty big on feminism and leftwing politics. the two are inseparable really. without systemic change you are basically just moving sunbeds around on the deck of the titanic. a doomed exercise.
eg. fighting to see 50/50 men/women CEOs and 50/50 men/women homeless is clearly pointless. so you have to confront exploitative structures, huge wage variation, eg CEOs (mostly men) earning 100s x what a nurse or a teacher (mostly women) earns), and look at wealth redistribution via progressive taxation.
also child-rearing has to be properly recognized financially. caring for children from conception to working age is largely unpaid labour (mostly by women), yet without it society, including business, would grind to a halt. this has to be recognised and rewarded as productive labour by society, not dismissed as something done outside of work. it is in the fullest sense work. and so on.
ok, this isn't the place to discuss it, but if you get the chance to engage with leftwing feminist politics i can recommend it. you owe it to your mothers, your sisters, your daughters, every female friend you have... and to the women who perform for your entertainment here.
woman are wonderful. love them through your politics as well as through your private life.

It's not really a thing, at least not in my (western European) country, apart from some newspaper articles and maybe a short segment on the news. Is that a good thing? Probably not, so that makes it even better that a lot of other countries (people) do go the extra mile and celebrate this day.

Important would be for studios shooting a lot of East European girls to relate on March 8th tradition in social media, the more that porn can contribute so much to Womens Liberation.
Some originally Russian based Adult Agencies do this of course.
Because it helps them catching more young girls!

Some examples of March 8th in Russia and Ukraine:

In Goa some (past) LP girls even celebrated March 8th with their bfs or temporary sex toys on spot!

It's usually pretty much the reason for men to get overly drunk over here.

3 years later no International Women's Days scene at LP at all!
The closest was released not surprisingly from a Russian studio:

Not sure about attracting 'feminists' because most of credible feminists I see inside biz rather than outside. And such a special International Women's Day pornbox scene would be just all about honoring women's beauty and sexual liberation in a good positive way.

I know. That is why I let my wife cook and clean today. Like any other day. I can't help being a feminist.

I worked non stop in an intensely demanding job from 7am to 7pm.
That is what happened on Women's Day for me.
It is not something I celebrate where I am from.

Worked a lot that day as well.
Just felt the urge to help popularize not an empty meaningless holiday, but true women's liberation. In the end I just bought more porn than I usually do. Still something to support the cause.
