Congratulations to those of you with jobs you like; however, don't assume that's the norm. Far from it. I believe most work to survive (provide food and shelter).

Take me. I make decent money ...$100k year. I hate my insanely stressful yet monotonous job and can't wait to exit the rat race in retirement a few years off. In fact, I've never 'liked' what I do, yet I'm good at it and it pays well. I'd probably be happier working in retail but the pay there sucks... So, I work at what pays me well.
