Every scene with the rare exceptions starts out with women wearing the same lingerie. Maybe the colors and the shoes change but that's it.

There's nothing sexier than watching a beautiful women dressed up. Pornstars look their best on awards like XBiz and AVN.

Even something simple like a shirt, jeans and heels would be 100x sexier than starting the scene with lingerie. You can still wear sexy lingerie underneath of course but for the first few minutes show the model dolled up. Even in normal day clothes.

Most studios do this. DDFnetwork + Brazzers + NA etc. Just because LP doesn't have a story-line doesn't mean you can't do this. From the very few special scenes where LP has done this you can see the sales are really good. Totally agree, I've been saying this for ages.

The lingerie look is great but overplayed and also removes any sense of spontaneity.

When the girls are dressed in more regular gear you can project onto the scene the sense that they've come straight off the street or from the bar/club (ie been chatted up or whatever) and as the OP says this still applies to gonzo style scenes - you don't really need any dialogue or storyline. For me that is hotter than a look that says "OK here's our latest porn shoot with girl x", which is really what the lingerie-from-the-beginning look brings.

My personal fetish is girls in skirts (short but not too short, ie the kind of thing they would wear to a club if they wanted to turn male heads), which isn't really a "fetish" by most standards but it's surprising how few LP scenes feature them. For me they should be pulled up and left on around the waist with the panties ideally also left on and pulled to one side for at least a section of the scene. Again the partially clothed nature adds to the element of spontaneity.

Dresses, jeans, vest tops, all good. Just bring some normal clothing!

Fair point and I don't think anyone is suggesting getting rid of the lingerie look. If a girl much prefers that style then she should certainly be allowed to choose it. I would think that for every girl who is that way inclined, however, you'll also find one who likes the idea of being fucked in her regular clothes and with a more spontaneous feel. I would suspect that most girls would actually like both to be honest and be happy to mix it up.
