To be clear nobody in this thread actually said anything about face slapping being 'wrong', just that they didn't like seeing it. I shared my own reasons why not above.

You sure about this? I'm certainly not a porn industry insider but I would think that the power structure within porn means that girls - and especially new girls - are quite low down the pyramid when it comes to influencing the look and feel of scenes made by established directors and featuring experienced male actors.

It stands to reason to me that most new girls would be if not scared then certainly hesitant about complaining about anything on set, lest they assume a tag of being difficult to work with and reduce their future possibilities within the industry.
