Gotta say I'm really struggling to spend my tickets looking at the recent trailers. Almost every scene now has loads of face slapping and throat grabbing.

Sure. The problem is that it just seems to be done as standard within porn these days, which would have to mean that every porn girl likes being choked. Do you think that is the case?

I don't mind if it's an established girl where you know they're into it and it drives them on in the scenes. There are obviously porn girls like that. Lydia Black is a good LP example. But it seems to be used mainly with the new, younger girls where to me it just comes across as bullying.

A great example is the first Gonzo Kessie Shy scene from a few months ago with Ed Junior, Potro and Chris Diamond. It does actually specify "manhandle" and from the trailer there is a little slapping and certainly some hair pulling. But it's all done respectfully and there are very long sections where Kessie is left alone to express herself, which she does magnificently. Her personality and obvious enjoyment of hard sex are allowed to shine through without her being reduced to a fuck doll. That level of physicality should be the default standard for me. Looking at the trailers I'm quite sure that Gonzo has gone well beyond those limits of late.

You've lost me. "Gonzo" as a porn term does not refer to violent or aggressive porn but merely "no frills" porn that doesn't use storylines, settings etc. Within the definition of gonzo you can make porn of any style, strength etc.

I'm not dictating anything, am I? Merely asking for some scenes that don't include lots of throat grabbing and slapping. It's you who seem to be dictating by expressing anger that someone would request such scenes. Surely there is space within LP for both styles. The problem as I see it is that new girls in particular are being channeled down the aggressive route right away. You may disagree, which is fine. I'm a paying customer expressing my opinion. The response to the thread shows that some agree with me and some don't, which I would suggest is pretty healthy.

Most scenes in total, across all platforms are not like this.

There are plenty others to choose from, with the exception of a particular porn star you might be into, who doesn't have many scenes yet. Then yes you are limited, but again you can pass on buying the scene, you are not forced to. Down the road the actress may have/release some different scenes more appealing, and then you can use your tickets as you see fit. Again, I've passed on many scenes of my favorite porn stars, because of something I wasn't in to. Oh, well, I move on that's life.

I will agree with you, that there is a difference when the actress seems to be into it, or not into it. But even while seeming to be not into it, the "actress" (keyword), could have been asked to "act" (keyword), like she is not into it but is rather fine with the act for the scene (as there are some people who are into that style), thus why they are called actresses/actors.

I for one would love to see more LP scenes, where the girls slap the guys around a bit more & talk shit to them. Those scenes are few and far between.

Agree. The number of scenes tagged with "Rough" seems to be quite high these days.

I find the constant slapping extremely distracting and annoying. Giorgio on some of his videos keeps it to a minimum and these are generally always an instant buy for me. I do not enjoy watching a woman getting mistreated . I like videos in which the men appear to actually enjoy the girls

Agree with blue sentence.
Don't see it all as narrow as OP does, however.
Important is that gonzo is providing the girls a save ground on-set, a place they know they can always call STOP IT! and a place they work with trusted actors, its all a play after all.
