So what do people think about this decision? Any other users or are followers on there? I've been using this site for a long time for to post on my blogs and use as a personal archive and now they decide to ban adult content because they sick of moderating inappropriate use. Goodbye Tumblr, RIP you killed yourself.

What a stupid decision, even nipples count as porn. I hope they get what they deserve.
Wasn't there the same with Twiter years ago? Apparently Tumblr management did not learn the lesseon.

Wow, the most I got too was 35K before I gave it up about year and a half ago. Subscribers started asking for more and more GIFs and to specific content they wanted to see. It started feeling like a job so I left it alone. I use to wonder how long tumblr would allow adult content to dominate their platform. I guess we all know now.

The "it felt like a job" is not a bad thing IMO,
Because you are doing something you like.

Anyways, Tumblr was in the middle of a shitty situation
Some of the users were posting child porn
And that's at the core of why they decided to ban all porn from their platform.

Not an alternative, because there's little to no search feature to find what you're looking for. Same goes for most of these image hosting sites. I don't think tumblr is so much of a hosting site, but you could at least search for different pages and find what you're looking for for the most part

The problem for me is the huge amount of attention you get, lol.

When I made gifs about Gonzo's Nekane scene, it got like 300k views overnight.
My mobile phone battery imploded because of all the private messages lol. I woke up the next day with 3% battery left. Haha.

I never understood how that woman was only hired for a week.

It's a shame. Its how I learned about LegalPorno...

Exactly, for me Tumblr was the only platform for porn where it caters for certain kinks/niche's, these image hosting/tube sites you would spend hours through search pages and little of it and the navigation of their sites is horrible compared.

Me too. I think I started using Tumblr in 2011, and discovered Legalporno through it in 2013. I think i was looking for "gapes", but this is what I mean about their features, you would discover a lot of niche.

Yeah they've already begun flagging and taking down videos, most of videos I liked are just blank, there's already a petition has over 300k signatures to reverse the ban but I dont think Tumblr will budge .https://www.change.org/p/tumblr-com-all ... -on-tumblr

What will you do with your content and blog? Will you continue somewhere else I'm looking at alternatives but haven't heard of any yet.. pillowfort keeps getting mentioned and "ello"

Sadly, most social media bans pornographic images... probably the reason why most of Legal Porno's social media links at the bottom of the website no longer work

None of the alternatives come close to what Tumblr had, unfortunately. Multi-blog support, queues, drafts, proper tagging and tag search, reblogging with the addition of captions… haven't found any platform that has all that working.
