Putins police finally did it. After driving out porn productions from Russia already many years ago.
Charges are supposed to be related to distributing porn on internet, maybe also production.

A bit of story for you to understand: in Russia to shoot what we call "pornography" has always been against the law, but in Saint Petersburg the "virtual umbrella" accidentally (for other producers) provided by Sergey Pryanishnikov after his court on 2001, create an "underground" pornography industry almost allowed and for sure widely tolerated and well integrated in the city.

if you check wiki about Sergey Pryanishnikov, you can read that on 2001 he explained to the court what supposed to be legal and illegal pornography. He meant as illegal pornography, pedo, animal and necro, he basically somehow went away with it and without to write a law he "created a precedent" where the prosecutor's abandoned the accusation (the real reason was "expiration of the statute of limitations" and I never understood what fucking it really means in Russian).
Thats it, for the court of Saint Peterburg porn was legal (or at least tolerated) and all producers (russian and nor russian) benefited from this

It is a sad state of affairs thees Russian laws. It is hard for me to understand everything since i don't speak the language. But i do understand that this was also the reason that Sineplex moved to Czech Republic and LP was started in 2012.
I find it interesting however that it seems like not all production has stopped. For example Firstanalquest and other smaller websites still put out content regularly and they have not been shut down. Have they found a loophole with the law? Or maybe they are just lucky or perhaps friends in high places?

When you shoot few scenes / month, you don’t attract much attention or if you have a “official” photo studio you can mask it better as/or changing location at every scene.
But in that way Porn is not much profitable, you hardly make a life out of it, it’s more like a second job.

It is only illegal to film / distrbute it. Being a porn actress is not illegal.

Timo and his brother are doing different stuff than pornography from many years (at least like primary source of income), personally it looks like they simple framed him. Time will tell us the true, from my experience when something like this happens in Russia and on porn industry, there is every time a puppeteer or someone that has interest to toss out someone from the industry.
