Dark walls and dark furniture would probably work better, especially with white women. Because this would make it easier for viewers to focus their attention on the ladies and their sex with guys.

Light background stands out too much, so much that it distracts your attention from the ladies. Ideally you want the lady to be the center of attention. And for this to work, the lady needs to be shinier and lighter than the background, so that she will stand out against the dark background.

When you have a background that's lighter than the ladies, then your natural inclination is to look at the background. You need to work mentally to keep your attention on the ladies. Which is a bad way of doing porn. The porn-maker should make it easy for the viewers, instead of making them work more than necessary.

Most outdoor shoots are screwed up because of sound and especially lighting issues. I'm totally fine with the way LP shoots their scenes right now.
