There's been a definite move towards more personalisation in content and it's not just in the porn industry. Everyone has seen how successful YouTube stars have been in this regard and want a piece of the action. Even artists in the music biz, have superfans and are personalising expensive custom content made especially for them.

The problem with cam sites and OnlyF is that generating custom content is extremely expensive. I don't have average spend data but my mate's sister was an amateur pornstar and was on OnlyF for a few years before she got married.
