You actually have made a couple of good points here. Yeah, it does slow down the intensity with many of the girls. Very true. (But to be honest, in the end safety is more important than intensity, so it's fairly understandable - although might make some want to see it less since the intensity drops so much halfway through most of the scenes). And yes, for a lot of the girls it's obvious they're trying to avoid looking uncomfortable.
