I have to say I've been enormously impressed by Manea Valentina & Charlie Forde in their recent scenes. Manea (in her clear French dictation), & Charlie (with her wit) both are huge turn-ons with their dialogues at the start of the scenes. Either could be just telling us about the weather, its still a turn-on, so natural & non-clichéd.

I think its a trend that should be HUGELY encouraged. If they're Russian, Italian, Spanish, Czech or Hungarian, let them speak, introduce themselves in their native tongues (in which they're obviously more comfortable), have some chit-chat with camera... not answering tired, clichéd questions with a blank-eyed yes or no... not talking false boring seductive mantras, just being themselves. Hey we might even pick up a bit of the language en route: mind you we don't want below scenario! So DON'T take it on holidays with you!

Now if we could get a few German speaking ladies to do that, that'd be icing on cake for me, so soft & romantic German can be, as opposed to stereotype... or if you have lady with rich Welsh accent... back in the day, Poppy Morgan & Sabrina Johnson were great English talkers.

I just wish more US models were more natural, but then again, maybe they too, fall victim to loaded questions instead of letting them tell us about themselves in introductions etc.

Of course, many models will be reticent, laconic, or simply dull, with little of interest to say. But those who aren't, & those who are shy, should be encouraged to express themselves in scenes.

Both Manea & Charlie excelled in this aspect in Gonzo scenes, so Giorgio, you may unwittingly have stumbled upon a winning formula..

I find it strange that following on from Aussie Charlie Forde, 'Isabella' did no introductions to camera, & disappointing too. It would have been nice to hear her introduce herself with her gentle Northern Irish lilt, as she did in "Jacqui et Michel"?

You can interview girls, for them to show their true personalities but I would much rather that be in the BTS.
I much prefer sex scenes to be purely focused on sex acts, if the girls also do dirty talk...great! Otherwise, no need for anything else in terms of asking girls to speak more.

This sounds a bit like you projecting how you want girls in porn to feel about their porn scenes rather than the actual reality. I get the impression that the vast majority of LP girls love the hard sex acts they perform. This doesn't mean that they will always want to open themselves up in conversation about that, because very many of them are possibly shy in that way or perhaps just feel that they don't have much of huge interest to say so it certainly wouldn't be a good idea to have an enforced spoken section at the start of scenes for all girls. But as the OP says, where a girl is comfortable with that (and good at it) then it should be encouraged.

All of that is a world away from saying that "[porn girls] want to distance their professional and personal working lives". I don't think that is the case at all with most porn girls. I get the impression that their huge sexual appetite is very much a core part of their lifestyle and thus something they enjoy showing off and all of this is very healthy.

The biggest barrier here I think is that most of the current male porn directors are a bit combative with the girls in how they speak or have a bit of a master/servant vibe towards them. Giorgio is certainly a bit of a culprit here I think. The best at bringing verbal heat out of girls that then transferred into their performances was Christoph Clark, because he was incredibly complimentary and courteous to the girls and gave the impression he was in awe of them a bit. "You are so beautiful! Is incredible, you know?"....that kind of thing. It really put the girls at ease and they were then comfortable and relaxed enough to talk sexy. The best one was maybe Ellen Saint when Clark asked her "What do you like?" and quick-as-a-flash she responded with "I like to fuck". Totally natural, spontaneous and - I am certain - sincere. What happened in the next 30 mins or so certainly supported her claim. I dig that scene out from time to time mainly for that bit.

The Manea Valentina scene is really good and I did like the talking bit that I heard. I confess I sort of skimmed through it mainly because of the above. I don't have confidence in the LP talky bits and am worried that they might turn me off also if it's trash talk or ego-laden stuff from the director but I'll go back and listen to that. Is it perhaps a bit of a trend that the French girls in porn are quite intelligent and articulate generally perhaps? I'm thinking of older ones like Tiffany Hopkins and Lou Charmelle, who were certainly very confident and assertive verbally. Possibly a bit of a generalisation but there certainly have been a lot of intelligent French porn girls.
