Are Russian studios hit hard by western sanctions?

With all the sanctions, especially the removal of Russia from the SWIFT system it seems that Russian producers and performers are gonna be hit really hard.

But I assume that the main payment processing centre for Legalporno is outside of Russia? You should be able to find a way to get the money there eventually. Bring cash by car?

On the other hand if you're sitting on cash, many girls may become desperate enough to star in porn...

I think if the Russian studios are business savvy, they will have been smart enough to keep some cash (as all good companies do).

As such, whilst the Western sanctions may have impacted them - they should have enough to keep going, as least in the short term.

I think it's actually Japanese porn that is suffering.

Japanese porn uses a site in Japan to sell their porn called DMM.

However for the West it uses another called R18.

And R18 hasn't been accepting any kind of credit or debit cards since the sanctions started.

Which means they probably have lost a lot of money from people not being able to buy anything from the site using credit or debit cards.
