Looking at the pornbox output in that time I doubt, though.

IMO conversations in the forum continued pretty much as before during your absence. A few good posts from the usual suspects, and a lot of instantly forgettable nonsense.

I'm not your ally and frequently I disagree with you, but in fairness I think your posts are mostly positive contributions, rarely mean or insulting, and usually display some thought and reason, which is in short supply here.

Please continue to contribute here, if you want to.

My time on the site is a tiny fraction of what it was from just 2 yrs ago, so I just didn't notice DAP-A's absence.

The site is a walking dead shell of it's former glory. There are so many (30+ per day some days) garbage scenes, with trash/cheap looking models. I simply don't have the fortitude to wade thru it all to find the 1 or 2 decent quality scenes that might be posted. I check out the models forum 5 minutes before the daily scenes go live to see if there are any names of interest. Otherwise, that is about it lately.

AV may be profitable with quantity over quality, especially given the substantial increase in scene prices, but it is a big nothing-burger for the most part these days.

Scenes are also robotic. Gone are the days one could see some real passion on screen. Sure, a model breaks thru every now and then (Kelly Oliveira perhaps), but that is about it. Piss is partially to blame for this. Having to make two edits for every scenes means spontaneity is squashed (stop everything...dry off for the dry version).

I challenge anyone to go back and look at real Giorgio directed scenes from 2015/2016 and you will realize this place best days were 5+ years ago. That also includes the piss scenes that were shot start to finish as piss without worry of a dry version. Everything was just better.

Giorgio mostly and then Omar are ruined my love to this site, with shooting just crap stuff (GIO) and not shooting at all (SZ) more than 6 months, not to count retirement period and previous active period....with my favorite girl. So, for me its almost like she never came back... And dont know maybe even better if she really not. Her legacy forever would stay shinny and glory in my eyes, instead of whitnessing to degrading of it on every 10-15 days. And all "thanks" to someone who used to be the best porn director on Earth, now not even a shadow of it. Read your comments here Angel Eyes as you have a lot of well thought out opinions here over the years. I agree in many aspects especially about the Gio scenes but to a lesser degree as far as a downturn. I think there's enough really good content that deserves my cash/ticket it is just more of a hunt to find. I became a member and 2016-2019 which was just an incredible run. Core group of girls Nicole Black, Katrin Tequila, May Thai, Selvaggia, Anna de Ville were just scorching scenes . Now there's a lot of effort to sift through with the crazy amount of releases to cater to my tastes. That previous era was just Gonzo and Gio Studios, but now it is all these releases each day that I don't hardly look at. I do think NRX, Yummy Estudios, and Natasha Teen/Latin Teen Productions that have earned the LP/AnalVid for quality for hardcore anal porn. The era you speak of did have more intense scenes and I do go back and watch when I can (Avi Love Blackened a few weeks ago) but if you look around the porn world, they are still unrivaled here at AV and there's enough to keep me coming back it just takes more work, reviewing comments on this forum and really picking and choosing the best scenes for your precious tickets. You never know what is around the corner, either a comeback (2021 the year of the comebacks) Colombian invasion or some of these newbies at NRX so I still excited with a part of me longing for the good ol days. It's a cycle, girls come and go, trends evolve so who know what is next. Appreciate the opinions here

I've always thought of you as a pillar of this forum so it's surprising to see you didn't post in so long. You were one of the first to welcome me to the forum and I always thought that was really cool. Also, you've been one of the biggest proponents here of trying to get new people to join and contribute. You have your opinions and you're vocal about them, but I don't see much wrong with that. Good or bad, you at least try to keep the forum active and engaging.

I am getting concerned about the forum and whether it's starting to die though. The main reason I decided to start contributing here years ago and not the EBI forum was because it was so much more active here and the EBI forum seemed like it was dying. Now I'm worried the same thing is happening here. Maybe it's just me though.

Far too much work for me. While there may very well be some great scenes to rival days of old, the good ones get lost, undiscovered in the steaming pile. I simply do not have the time, or attention span to wade thru it. The fact that Dap-A can disappear for 16 days, I suspect is a symptom of lack of interest on his part...I could be wrong on that point.

I agree with that but he does overstep the mark at times and he has to be challenged on it. I think his criticisms of models - which he irritatingly presents as fatherly professional advice - can sometimes be too personal. I wish he wouldn't go on about the weight of models, for instance, that is not a good thing to do with young women.
