A few discussions including wider interests beyond porn might help keep some of the more sane posters engaged in reading the forum and contributing about both porn and other topics?

I think there is plenty of useful discussion about porn, even from angry posters like otto. Sadly, the forum still attracts silly trolls and mischief-makers desperately trying to be clever and attract attention. So IMO it's a mix of good and bad really.

In my opinion we could have a better dialogue regarding porn but we do not need other topics here. There are better places for that.

Porn is part of everyday life, politics, economy, social life, culture etc... so in order to make the reading worthwhile, please expand the scope beyond whether the women should have their shoes on or not.

Let's talk about trends, history, future, different performers, directors, companies, whatever, but let there be a connection to sex in some way.

Today sb in another thread asked what kuckmal was. Showed me again that we discuss too little about the legacy of some great porn directors and what we as well as LP/AV can still learn from them.

I think if anybody wants to discuss Jean-Yves leCastel or kuckmal or whatever, they can start a discussion and see if any like-minded people want to join in.

But it's sad when the forum's self-appointed gatekeepers try to influence others to post about the gatekeepers' own favourite topics.
