The best professions for meeting women

Its gotta be the medical profession, being a male nurse, or better yet, a doctor. Or banking profession. But I'd say number 1 has to be medical. Another cool one could be university professor, possibly, in Oxford or Cambridge or something. Any thoughts? Maybe hotel management? But something like latter you might have to move quick. With some of others I guess you've time to get to know people better. As a postscript, for myself, the idea of being male nurse or hairdresser as option in late 80's was no-go effeminate territory taken by brave few. We, as working class lads were pushed as ideal to become carpenter as best amongst working class options, though few apprenticeships were to be found. 10 years later these occupations became far more respectable.

I guess it depends on what you mean with "meeting women". A Doctor friend of mine was so spoilt with choice that he never could decide or he decided many times but aged without a family to his regret.
He still sees many women and have friends with benefits. He uses dating apps but do not seem to enjoy it very much.

Thanks Yumyum & Jocke. Yumyum, it strikes me travel business based on fleeting opportunities. I actually have BA in subject matter, I never followed through. I don't have the 6'2" alpha male thingie to do that. With me its always been more, "well I've met him 4 times & I don't know what it is, but he's hot" vibe. Anyway that alpha I spoke of doesn't require profession, he can just canter down local nightclub & stand at the bar, & good luck to him.

Jocke, the doctor thing is very poignant. Probably came from well-heeled family, destined for professio from day 1 - but ultimately unfulfilled, reminds me of black dude in below video with briefcase... great post lads, thanks for response.

I can recommend being a photographer, my own profession. Yet it depends a lot on how you utilize its potential.

Contemporary photography is very industrial and mechanical actually, there is not much art to it. Most of my work is about making photos for fashion folders. Girl posing are often overwork, there is very little break between sets, issues are corrected rather on post production level than with trying to take the perfect angle & smile. And, worst of it all, it's not you who choose girls to the set.

Don't ask me about high-class modeling, I have no idea what happens behind Victoria Secret curtains.

BUT.

Young girls starting career, and these aspiring to do it here, have somehow fixed in their minds that photographer must be a key-player here. There is some truth to it, having years in the field I had some connections to actually do something for the girls sometimes, but it's not even close to their visions. So they are nice to you, and often open for proposals, some even daring to come first with innitiative. Few weeks in the biz breaks this mindset, but you can usually recognize if a girl is still at this point or not. And you can work on that. Feels good to actually do something in return, but you can go just fine even with doing actually nothing.

I've managed to pull some nice memories from these opportunities. In my late 20s, it was peek time for Sineplex Classic productions, so you know what kind of experiances I was looking for, sometimes succesfully.

Cons - this "opportunities" makes it hard to keep stable real life relationship. Got married in late 30s.

I am also a photographer, and I am friends with photographers that work for Victoria's Secret. I know all about it, and no, photographers don't have that big of advantage, all the ones I know are in the friend zone, which is still cool because those are Victoria's Secret models we are talking about.

As a photographer I can say that many models have the rule to not sleep with photographers, but some don't.

I would say being a photographer alone doesn't get you laid, it does help you with learning how to socialize with highly attractive women that are naked in front of you, and this experience does help you getting laid, but it is not the photography.

I have slept with Hustler, Playboy, and Penthouse models before, I even had many threesomes, and it was because of a Penthouse model that I got into photography, but those results came from dating the model in the first place, not because of photography, and she happened to be bi like many other girls in the field.

As a photographer I do get dates from time to time with very attractive women, but usually comes at the risk of not working with her if something goes wrong, so you have to be careful.

That said, there is a way that you can use photography to get you laid, and that is by organizing photography events and retreats for models and other photographers.

So basically you don't have to be a photographer yourself, you are just an event organizer where you provide work for the girls, and work for the photographers.

In that situation you usually end up living with the girls for a few days during the events, and if they come from far they may have to stay with you before and after, which obviously can often end up in sex because that's what happens when adults are alone.
