How did you change your LP consumer/user habits in 2020?

I guess almost all users remember the massive tkt price increase in June 2020.
I wonder whether and how it changed your consumer habits?
And also whether and how Covid-19 changed your porn shopping?
Because one need to be said: Despite pandemia LP core studios did a great job to get it going despite travel option cuts and thus import routes barred from USA, Russia and Ukraine.

Me, despite critics of smaller talent pool, I felt a quite big solidarity with GIO/GL and gonzo.
1) I thus tried to buy more actually, be also a bit more tolerant. Not towards pusssy-friendly porn like DP, but towards MILF, chubby girls, bushy girls even.
2) Maybe not even linked to Covid, but I developed a tolerance towards wet and started buying wet versions rather than dry versions - at least when they cost less than 0,5tkt more.
3) I started to support GLab projects in Piter and Barcelona regularly if only I liked the girl, no matter what sex act content, even DP if it was hard enough. That went down a bit after too many bad Russian stud wood-problems scenes.
4) I supported new studios like N&F (Prague) and NRX (Piter) as soon as they shot what I need, despite big quality problems at both their start.

I'm not a heavy user, restricting myself to a monthly budget of 48 tickets. So maybe I'm not a typical (forum) user.

Changes in 2020:

1. The fixed amount of tickets per month on my subscription buys fewer scenes. So I follow fewer girls.

2. Sometimes I wait longer before buying a scene I want, due to shortage of tickets.

3. Because I can buy less, I'm more picky and less tolerant if I dislike e.g. tattoos, piercings, lighting, costumes, hair & makeup; even if otherwise I like the girl.

4. No change at all in my tastes, which became fixed at puberty and have never changed.

2. The price increase was shocking but if it means better quality production I am all for it. I happened to be lucky with my TSLA investment last year.

I feel it wasn't just June, I feel December 2020 is when they started making it even more crazy, and more standard, but yeah, it started happening long time ago.

Since I only have been here 11 months:

1. It gave me a motivation to look the back catalog

2. I started buying the back catalog

3. I started buying Russian teens as well since those didn't get expensive initially

4. I ran out of tickets faster so it forced me to save scenes I want for a latter day

5. I became more picky as well only choosing actresses I really like, at least not as open as I used to try anything

It is for the best because I have everything in folders in my external hard drive that I connect to my 4K Blu-Ray to play on my projector, it is 120 inches so image quality matters for me.

I make a folder for each model, so this way I don't have to make that many folders because I usually end up getting the same girls with very few exceptions.

Like many others, I have become ultra-selective. Everything needs to be right for me to purchase a scene. No impulse buys. I retain the same subscription, which obviously goes less distance now, so I neither spend more nor less - for LP the effect is neutral. I don’t particularly feel any loyalty - loyalty cuts both ways! I’m here as long as there are still scenes that appeal to me.

It has been a very difficult year, for porn producers as much as anywhere, in particular the travel obstacles cutting off supply. Nevertheless, some positives have emerged. I very much liked the discovery of the ‘Italian Sluts’ and their transfer to mainstream shooting in Prague. I think that Nick Rock unveiled a few excellent new models and a fresh approach for his Studio. I’ve found myself more enamoured of the Gio Lab releases with their greater spontaneity and sexual energy than the factory driven GG or the part-time Gonzo.

We have some way still to go but I am optimistic about 2021 as I think we will have a lot more hot models prepared to do nasty things for our entertainment, once the travel issues are overcome. Though what a single scene ticket price will be by the end of the year is anyone’s guess.
