GIf Files

So I only just recently paid any attention to the gifs tab on a purchased video, i have often used the facility (its something i find this site has that no other has +1), to make my own and share them on here, see links at end of post

Does anyone know, the gifs that are under the video file next to photos tab, are they user generated, ie if i make a gif will it appear there or are they made by the studio of the video?

Also is it possible if site owner/admin see this could we request having a function to download them (gifs) as a zip file similar to the photos?
