Long time member, 5000+ scenes.
This "content visibility update" made me write my first post in forum.

I have no idea how this is supposed to be an improvement.
New scenes is exactly as annoying as before, new "Studios" tab is useless at best.

Why "New Scenes" is still shit:
When i read that it will now only show selected content i was really happy at first, no more clicking away countless garbage/scam "Studios" every day i thought...
But soon i noticed that it is still showing me plenty garbage scenes from studios i never heard of.
Took me not long to find out why, for some reason the geniouses at pornbox decided to replace the 5step rating system (hide/dislike/neural/like/follow) by only 2 steps (show/hide).
Every tag or performer i had followed (and maybe the "liked" ones as well?), was set to "show", and now clutters my "New Scenes" because plenty of those garbage/spam-"Studios" use those tags.
To avoid this, i still have to hide all the new garbage studios every day.
Improvement ZERO, an important way to give feedback removed.
Yes 5 steps was a bit much, but i really liked that i can give some feedback with like/dislike, without fully commiting to completely hide someone/thing forever, or to alway have it on top/followed.
That it is not possible to reset "show" to neutral is the worst fuckup in this update !

Why new "Studios" tab is shit:
I have disabled Gay and TS in settings. yet it shows me countless "Studios" that have nothing but Gay, Solo Male or TS scenes in their previews. WTF !?!
^ Why on earth are global scenes filters not applied in studio previews ? This alone kills the studio tab for me, but there is more:
Scenes in preview are not sorted by release, so to see newest scenes, you have to click/open the studio, there default is "sold recently" instead of newest.
(Even if i would trust it shows what was actually sold. Who gives a f*** what was sold recently ? Default should always be newest)
Why is there no price in scene preview ?

Even if all this would be solved, i still don't see how how this update could improve visibility, in the sense of making it possible to find the 1% acceptable scenes in all the garbage that gets uploaded now every day.

My suggestion would be:

At the NEW SCENE Page,
On the top right side (there is enough space right now),
A SWITCH, labeled like "SHOW ALL" or "FILTER STUDIOS"

This would be my favourtine solution for this!

Guys I love where your heart is at, but this is mega confusing now. I just realized I missed like 4 days of updates from other studios that I will miss because there is nowhere to see them. Not all the studios are listed in the filter either so I cannot even build a complete filter of All the studios I like if I wanted to. Erika Korti for example I am left to manually search to see if they updated. I personally liked the new feed page. I had my filter setup for my updates but now it makes no sense and I miss a ton of content that I have no way of knowing who released what.

Analvids is just a glorified tour page at this point and I'd wager to say that's why it doesn't receive as much attention as Pornbox does. It redirects you to Pornbox anyway if you're a logged in member.

How exactly do you expect us to discover a random new studio whose content we might be interested in and want to follow, if we can't see their content without following in the first place? A small strip of arbitrary "suggested" studios at the top of a page is useless when there are dozens upon dozens of studios who are likely to get hidden because they're not pushed by your random algorithm?

Imagine not being able to browse A-Z, or at least A-Z within a genre on Netflix. ALL content should be visible on one page, and your own custom favourite studios/stars/etc should be viewable for easy tracking on another separate page or toggle. Completely replacing the "all content" view is an awful design choice for simple content tracking and content discovery.

Only been a member like 3 months and have happily been wish listing scenes, spending my tickets, etc - so this is my first post

I must say the new 'content visibility' system is totally stupid and useless for me - i was previously checking back every few days and going through all 'new scenes' , sometimes putting filter tags on and such and building up a set of models/studios/etc to discover and purchase or add to my wish list for future - but now i need to have already show an interest in these studios/scenes/models/etc for them to appear at all? how am i supposed to discover content i am not yet aware of?

Yea, and for others (like me) add a button that says hide new studio's. (with ideally an option to still go through them seperetaly at the top or search tags/vids from only new studio's etc)
I just hope people actually vote with their wallets. Companies will only listen to that, time has proven again and again that they bend over backwards to screw people (talking in general here) even if it means breaking the law cause a small fine doesn't matter if you earn more money anyway. Just to illustrate. They aint doing that here... I think. ;p

I see a lot of feedback saying that it would be harder for new studios to become visible.

In reality the studio suggestions at the top of the "new scenes" index are made of the studios that released that day, including new ones. It means those suggestions are very similar to what you saw before, but their size is limited to a smaller area.

You are free to check them all every day. It is slightly slower to check them from a suggest area but then you can also browse your box store much faster.

I think the elephant in the room for all of this is due to the clutter of gay male scenes and scenes that were filmed 20 years ago. Past threads have repeatedly this is not what members want to see.

What I have noticed is that AV does not listen to its audience. How about listening to the members and fans instead of telling them what they want? Creating all these hurdles to enjoy content is creating the opposite effect.

Choose "top recent studios" instead of the unfiltered "newest studios".

Also the studios/models you hide will be removed from the studio/model indexes, so that your filtering "work" effectively builds better pages even there.

There are so many updates that the bot completely saturates the pages with posts. It's also a mess with studios because there are too many of them. We may revisit all this in the future but it is not a priority right now.

You might have wanted to offer the 2 options to the users. Either all off and you add those you want to see, or all on and remove those you don't want to see. This update was needed because everyday there were dozen of scenes but some people might want to see almost everything and it might be a challenge to go and enable everything they liked

Hi XXX, there was no science to what I was doing at all. The best studios for me were the oldest ones, Sineplex etc, so I would just reverse the 'newest' first option, to get to the bottom. Though this had become almost impossible even before this latest change.

Otherwise, I would just browse the daily updates at least a few times a week.

Ahhh the classic next phase of enshitifcation, start attacking the fans and paying customers. As usual only current mugs and their money count, anyone who coughed up in the past can go take a running jump (even though it was their money that made LP what it was in the golden era of the previous decade).
You (by that I mean LP, not you personally you understand, or was it?? ) over-loaded the site with crap in the first place, amateur crap, ancient scenes from yester-year, generally low-quality productions; all the while letting the core product begin to rot. You talk as if the forum bot had a mind of it's own and wasn't obviously programmed by someone at LP, surely it was straight forward enough to have the forum-bot only add links and updates from the core LP studios and not all the other crap.
It's weird but you keep putting all the crap on the site, but now are are trying to direct people only to the core products. I presume those posting the crap aren't getting any hits or income at all now. I don't know who's the biggest mug, us or them.
GG might be celebrating the demise of Gonzo (he after wants to kill of any real competition) but without competition and competing studios quality and competitive spirit will wither and die. Also a lack of studios to shoot for means a lack of income for the girls (who are the most important part of the porn jig-saw after all), and an already diminishing pool of viable talent will only get smaller as a consequence.
The fan-boys will never stop raving about GG, even if he started putting out scenes of the mope squad fucking potatoes, but there are many of us that lament the demise of Gonzo; for it was they that offered a truly genuine DAP gang-bang experience without so many unnecessary bells and whistles.
As someone else commented here, there's nothing wrong with admitting you're wrong. Just try and be a bit reflective and less of the anti-customer attitude, you don't want to do a Disney after all do you. How difficult is it to understand that we just want the option to see ALL scenes, like the way it used to be.

Was there a lot of content? Yes. Was there a lot of unwanted shit that you needed to sift through? Yes. But at the very least you had the ability to do that, based on your own choice. The logical design choice would be to allow people to see all content, and a separate view to just their wanted/favourited content, NOT completely replace all content with just a favourites/followed view and nothing else.

It's as simple as this. Let's say you had a coffee shop you visit regularly. You mostly get coffee there, but of course they offer teas, milkshakes, food, snacks etc.

One day, they ask their customers to fill out a survey, and you say you normally drink just coffee.

Suddenly, the only thing you ever see available to buy is coffee. You cannot see their other drinks. You cannot see their food. You cannot see anything else they offer. Any new menu items they introduce, you'd have no idea. All you ever see is coffee. You hear other customers are raving about this new brownie they have, but you cannot see it or buy it. If you want to be able to see/buy it, you need to tell the coffee shop you are suddenly interested in seeing their baked goods. But then one day you don't feel like eating a brownie, you want a sandwich. Now you need to tell the coffee store you're interested in seeing their sandwiches too. They add new items to their menu, but you can't see any of it until you elect to see them.

Does that not sound utterly stupid? You can apply it to anything. Buying things at the supermarket. Looking for something to watch on Netflix. Finding new music on Spotify. Just because one time I said I liked one thing, it doesn't mean I want to be locked into seeing just that single studio's or performer's content without being able to see what else is on offer, on my own volition.

This new page is a godsend, thank you! Agree with the previous poster that it's very easy to overlook but there was a tooltip that popped up for me pointing it out today.
