age verification for analvids.com?

Hi!
I tried visiting analvids.com and was prompted with an age verification request. I was surprised because I live in California and there are no age verification laws here. This was super lame because they were asking for facial recognition which I hate say is not gonna happen. What's going on here?

I tried logging on this morning again there was no age verification request. Very odd! I'll let you know if it happens again.

Do you use a VPN that is roving? If you happen to have your VPN set to a state that requires age verification to access porn sites, then that site will have an age verification prompt.

I got prompted with age verification again. I am not using a vpn.

Weird. I live one state north of Cali and I have never received an age verification prompt. The only time I did is when my VPN said I was in Virginia. This shouldn't be happening in California.
