that wouldnt wreck the flow of postings but it would be easier to post.

Of corse a long lasting edit possibility isnt good for that could take the sence out of a thread

I’m not sure how it works. Sometimes I can edit, sometimes I can’t. Maybe it’s board specific?

I do find it helps to preview first.

For me worked one time.
But I was on ''studios'' section...so...

Don't think so. My posts are consistently locked instantly after pressing Submit. Especially when I intended to press Preview.
Guess it's just a quirk of the forum software. Or my browser isn't eating enough cookies.

why cant we edit posts? i have always getting "you can no longer edit post" error since i became a member.

this is ridiculous. my grammer is fucked up and i always make typos...

It probably has a lot to do with forcing people to be accountable for their words and actions. If you can't edit or delete your posts here, you will think twice about submitting content that reflects badly on yourself. Unfortunately, I suffer from chronic proofread aversion syndrome, so many of my posts here are less than perfect with respect to their grammar. I have also accidentally a word many, many times in my posts here, which just makes me look like a massive 'tard who don't talk good.
