Imagine if you could transport yourself back in time to mid-70's to be Barry Sheene or James Hunt in their pomp, just for one glorious afternoon.

Maybe a better time, maybe I'm being overly sentimental & nostalgic, for I was barely a child at the time.

But for sure, their candles burned so brightly. And there was an innocence there. Two great straight forward, brave, happy-go-lucky lovable rogues. Both lost to us way too young. Personally I was never into these 'sports', if they are that, but the respect remains.

I remember a great quote from someone to the effect of: "The swinging 60's actually happened in the 70's".

I'd say theres a lot of truth in that, particularly early 70's.
