I grew up during the 90s, and my very first CD albums were The Offspring "Americana", and Red Hot Chili Peppers "Californication".

However I end up loving a lot of 60s and 70s music, mostly by my own discovery, so now I kind of collect vinyl albums from that era.

I have quite of few already. I really like how nice and big the album cases are, so I'm starting to feel very good about my collection. These are the ones I have so far:

From The Moody Blues:

- Nights In White Satin
- In Search Of The Lost Chord
- On The Threshold Of A Dream
- To Our Children's Children's Children
- A Question Of Balance
- Every Good Boy Deserves A Favor
- Seven Sojourn
- Octave

From The Beatles:

- Let It Be
- Abbey Road
- The White Album
- Magical Mystery Tour
- St. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

From Ambrosia:

- Ambrosia
- Somewhere I've Never Travelled

From The Hollies:

- Hollies (1974)
- Another Night

From The Zombies:

- Begin Here
- Odessey & Oracle

From The Rolling Stones:

- Goats Head Soup
- Some Girls

From Al Stewart:

- Modern Times
- Year Of The Cat
- Time Passages

From The Yardbirds:

- For Your Love
- Little Games

From Queen:

- Sheer Heart Attack
- News Of The World

From Paul McCartney And Wings:

- Red Rose Speedway
- Wild Life

From Kansas:

- Point Of Know Return

From The Who:

- My Generation
- A Quick One
- The Who Sell Out
- Tommy

From Pilot:

- From The Album Of The Same Name
- Second Flight

From Pink Floyd:

- Dark Side Of The Moon
- Atom Heart Mother

From Led Zeppelin:

- Led Zeppelin II
- Led Zeppelin III
- Led Zeppelin IV
- Physical Graffiti
- In Through The Out Door

From John Lennon:

- Imagine
- Mind Games

From Electric Light Orchestra:

- A New World Record
- Discovery

From Toto:

- Hydra

From Supertramp:

- Even In The Quietest Moments
- Breakfast In America

From Bread:

- Bread
- On The Waters
- Manna
- Baby I'm-A Want You
- Guitar Man
- Lost Without Your Love

From The Doors:

- The Doors
- Strange Days
- Waiting For The Sun
- The Soft Parade
- Morrison Hotel
- L.A. Woman

From Jeff Beck:

- Blow By Blow

From America:

- America
- Homecoming
- Holiday
- Hearts
- Hideaway

I'm still missing many ones I want, like the rest of The Beatles, and Led Zeppelin albums, but I feel this collection is building up pretty good already.

Thats a nice collection Starrio.

I don't collect vinyls but I have a collection of about 500 LP's, but thats only because of my age.

Truth is, records sound much better than CD's. Theres a 'dirty', gritty sound that I love.

I inherited old '45's from parents from early 1960's & they are immensely powerful loud & raw.

Two of my favourites are "Johnny remember me" & "Be my baby". Its almost an afterthought that the records were produced by two wonderful imaginations, those of English Joe Meek, & American Phil Spector:
