How much disk space you have in total on your Desktop? How much internal disk space and how much external disk space? How much space is for porn?

Not a factor for me as I burn all of my scenes to DVD as mp4 files to watch on my telly.

I'm quite old school in still wanting a physical porn collection. I can certainly see that porn isn't quite akin to music in that moving away from a stereo/speakers and vinyl/CD/cassette towards a streaming/PC file set up vastly reduces your listening quality as well as turning a worthwhile hobby and passion into something essentially soulless and empty. In other words, porn is more disposable and transitory than music so keeping it on a hard drive makes a certain degree of sense. Nonetheless, I still prefer having porn on DVD in countless wallets for repeated viewing, which is generally random as I have no idea whatsoever where anything is.

I store all my porn into a 2 TB HDD.

2 x 1TB internal drives. The OS drive is SSD. The other is a mechanical drive (and served originally as the OS drive until I added the SSD).

Don't ask how many external TB I have. I have some drives going back to the mid '90s.

So you dont save all your Pornbox files?

I save them, but to external drives only.

I have several 10 and 12TB drives I keep everything on. Only download 4K files from any site I’m a member.

Amount of porn on my actual PC? Zero - I'd soon run out of room. I've got multiple external harddrives instead, usually around the 4TB size.

This is something I'm dithering over. On the one hand, a huge harddrive might take up less space than multiple smaller ones, but it's going to be even more of a pain in the ass if one dies. Which, like everything in life, seems somewhat inevitable at some point. I'm not sure I could cope with losing everything in one hit.

i have all files copied

my files are more important than my pc

50 tb.

Always save to external drives. my two main reasons.

Always have something to back up on if your computer completely dies on you and destroys everything you had collected like my laptop did 7 years ago.

And if your WIFI goes down. I can always hop on my drive or usb.

Actually I have SSD 1 TB internal, 2x 18 TB HDD internal, but as it looks I will need more space

As someone already stated, larger HDD's means an eventual larger LOSS of info. Besides I've been collecting for 20 years external drives now, so figure 2 per year, really ain't all that bad.

Also to be truly "backed up" means to have 1 original file, a copy of said file on separate media, and yet one more copy on yet a different device. I have some favorite files on like 5-6 drives. To me in my brain, I can extend life of drives by accessing from different drives instead of one wearing it down faster...

I'm just "prepping" for that end of the internet as we know it to come in the future. So I'll have several years of fapping still ahead of me....lol

I have 500 GB of disk space on my laptop. But I do not use that for porn or for anything as most of my files are on portable external hard drives and ALL of my many TBs of porn from LP/AV is on PornBox.

On my actual desktop I have just 2 TB of SSD space, all of which is reserved for work and or gaming.

However in my basement I have several "home" servers, on which I have stored all my data. They total to about 1.35PB of which almost 1.2 PB are in use.
Most of it is used by tv-series and movies and some little part for personal data.
Just porn alone takes up a little over 140TB right now.

B: 8x10TB drives in Raid 10
F: 8x10TB drives in Raid 10
G: 8x14TB drives in Raid 10
Network volumes:
W: 36x10TB drives in an Unraid System
X: 36x14TB drives in an Unraid System
Y: 24x14TB drives in an Unraid System
Z: 24x8TB drives in an Unraid System

I also have one Unraid System with 12x10TB and 12x6Tb wich spins up once a month and mirrors certain folders that I absolutely don't want to loose. Currently I am planning to add a second backup server like this to mirror more stuff.
