I'm living on west coast of Scotland now, maybe Germany in a few months... but I'll never forget where I grew up... west coast of Ireland! Unbeatable humour... this is where you know where you come from... when no-one has a clue what you're talkng about.

Yeah, we sometimes get into a pit & when your joie d'vivre vanishes, it can be very hard to get it back. A mortgage is like a prison sentence but then I guess, one should feel lucky to have ones own home.

I suppose this describes me too. By saying that I'm from Earth, I don't restrict myself to any country, culture, or religion.

I can say from my own experience that your looks and your personality aren't necessarily the best fit in the country and the culture where you were born. I was born in a European country, but I found that I was liked more and fitted better in an Asian country and an Asian culture, than in the country where I was born.

This was just me with my looks and personality. Someone else from the same country might fit better in some other culture and country. So, you don't really know were you fit best, until you travel around and try out various countries and cultures. And of course, you might fit best in the country and the culture were you were born. Searching for something else makes sense only if you don't fit well were you are.
