An article like this wouldn't have seen light of day 3 months ago. If this is true, then the Ukrainian offensive of the summer might have been ill-advised. I know it cost an awful lot of man-power that is irreplaceable.

Definitely. But I think the only sensible path Israel can make, for its own sake, though it would take enormous restraint & magnanimity, would be to ensure electricity, food & water supplies, & medical facilities continue as normal in the occupied areas. Whether a naturally aggrieved populace would accept this is another issue. But there always is a bigger picture, though understandably its easy to say this from a comfortable armchair thousands of miles away.

i think is extremely unlikely ww3 would start for a middle-east conflict

only when big wars like the ukraine-russia war happen, that involves nato, ukraine & russia, is when ww3 has a considerable risk of really happen

i really dont think this israel-palestine can turn into ww3, lets be real

a logical way ww3 can happen is: ukraine using nato's weapons, do a extreme defeat on russia, recover crimea, destroy kerchs bridge, extremely humiliates russia
also zelensky wants to join nato after defeating russia, as if recovering crimea was not big enough

what would happen then??? russia dont accept it and throw tactical small nukes, & then the war can extremely escalate
