Sadly he died after this. Peter Finch never really made it, he kinda had Paul Newman looks, but his face was forgettable unfortunately.

I post a fascinating interview where it is clear that Richard Burton copied his style. FInch deserved better than what he got. Burton looked up to him, they hung around together & Finch had 10 years on him. Burton apes him to a large degree I feel, though its his essence he apes, nothing in this film. Its like Burtons screen persona apes Finch's real self. What you think?

Thanks man, Scarlatti junior only started composing keyboard works in his early 50's which is astonishing give that he wrote over 500 of them. He is the least celebrated of the 3 great keyboard composers born in 1685 - the other 2 being Handel & Bach. He brought an Iberian flavour into his work that was unknown in German or his native Italian scenes at the time. What I post is his most gorgeous work that I've heard.

I just wish this other nonsense would stop because it truly is baffling to me. The world is a strange place.
