Longer Scenes Please

It's been a month now since we had a 45 minute long scene, which for me is about right whereas the short duration of recent scenes really puts me off buying them. A while ago I posted a poll to see what scene lengths others preferred and the overwhelming majority favoured longer scenes too (see comments as well as poll itself):

I recall a comment in another thread about making some shorter scenes to make some cheaper offerings to sell, but I'd thought/hoped the plan was to still make some longer scenes as well?

Longer scenes shouldn't automatically make up for missing intense anal action.
If the action is really intense, spending a couple minutes of hard anal sex in each position, IMHO 30-35 mins. is enough.

Sometimes VK scenes spend too much time on introduction, oral sex and other boring unnecessary stuff.

Personally I prefer some intro and oral in a scene (F>M and M>F) but putting that aside the last 9 scenes have all been shorter than even your 30 minute suggestion, averaging under 24 minutes.

If someone finds the start of a scene boring they can skip through it but those who prefer longer scenes will be less likely to buy scenes they view as too short at all. For their sake I hope the recent VK scenes are selling well but for me the scene length really puts me off buying.

Fully agree, yes inflation and cost of production has gone up but cutting the scene runtime from 50+ mins to 25-30 at the same price is insulting, especially when no DVP/DAP is involved. I'm often skipping over VK releases because of this, going to need to be at least 30-35 mins if they want my money at that price.

Short scene length is not a way to cut costs, but a result of deleted footage in post production.
Fees payed to the girl are sexy act based and payed per set done, no fees are working hour based.

Whatever the cause there has been a clear step-change in VK Studio scene length, so it's clearly a conscious change rather than one to two shoots not going so well resulting in shorter scenes once they've been edited down.

I see. VK might have changed the usual payment scheme. Would be a real novelty!
A new Russian way of doing things, dictated by crisis.
Not sure it works out fine for the girls really because preparation is the same and once they start performing most can also do more positions and/or more studs. But with a general deficit of for jobs studios are in a stronger position that porn shooting traditions.
