Thanks for replying. I'm new to pornbox. For me as a consumer -the photos tend to add to the alluring entertainment and experience of the whole scene. Like one big package deal.

It's a bit like seeing a menu featuring an image of a pizza - you think that looks great - the cheese melting - the sauce looking rich - the way each slice moves when taking it from the box. Then you say to yourself - 'I'm going to order it as it looks tasty'. It draws you in.

In regards to porn. Everyone has their own err...methodology lol. I like to view the photos and admire the figure and the acts the models are carrying out. It's like a starter to the main course. That was one of the things that drew me in with Gonzo and GG. Obviously you have your identity as a studio. Which is great! But I do feel there is room to do some photography in your own style like the other studios - not sure if that costs you extra money to do. A few minutes of tasteful shots could add to your overall work. Worth considering.

Its also tricky because often later it turns out that some slowly staged positions cannot be performed by the girl of that she looses her heels during the film etc, while she was shot in heels for the fotoshot etc. Its just unpractical, really.

For me they had more of a point when they were of much higher quality than the associated video footage but with 4k videos now the distinction is smaller. The trailers offer me a quick view to what is involved and how it may look. But I like looking at the pictures (if done to a very high quality) and observe the raw nature of beauty and sex. It's also possible to download the screenshots in 4K for scenes you have bought and if I'm not mistaken, that archive contains even more screenshots than the ones visible on the scene page. You can extract a good number of nice screenshots from the intro section alone if you want to just look at the softer parts before watching the whole scene.

With a photo as it is still and they use a camera I assume dedicated to photography along with lighting - there is no blur - because of that you can see more physical detail. By detail I mean how the skin wrinkles with the nips or a little bit of fur on the boobs or a strand in and around the booty lol.

Sometime when I'm particularly fond of a scene, I like to frame hunt the perfect screenshots by stepping segments frame-by-frame. I find the mpv-media player works well for this. It has keyboard shortcuts for next and previous frames and for taking a screenshot. Attached 4K screenshots as examples. Pretty damn amazing if you ask me!
