Debatable whether
everything has to be varied since Gonzo are mining a particular vein of porn for LP with a successful formula.
For example, they don't shoot on location, they don't shoot all-girl, rarely shoot 1-on-1, etc. etc.
If you restrict the debate to costumes then yes there are always some minority fetishists who want to see girls in tops, or hats, or gas-masks, or etc. etc.
But studios can't pander to unprofitable small minorities when they shoot expensive scenes speculatively and put them up on LP hoping to sell as many copies as possible.
The complaints on this board are that
too many scenes have tops left on, which is annoying many customers and limiting the appeal of those scenes.
And now IV have followed Gonzo down this road.
That translates into lost sales for LP. And possibly disappointing sales figures for popular models who may even miss out on re-bookings through no fault of their own, because of unpopular costume choices by the studios.
