New locations feedback

I'm happy you guys are finally getting out of your comfort zone. Here are some thoughts though.

A dark setting doesn't necessarily makes the pornos better.
Porn is mostly carried by visual channels and if, for some reason you can't see everything well, it gets a bit frustrating.

I been watching videos on the topic "how to shoot a movie in a dark place" and for the most part,
you place a lot of light sources, but cleverly disguised to trick the mind to think it's a dark setting.
At the end of the day, cameras need a lot of light to produce a good quality video.

I think you guys could use some dark settings, to add a small plot element to some movies, for instance:

The scene starts in a dark alley kind of setting, where a man picks up an escort babe, eventually he plays and fondles her against a wall. Something erotic looking.
Kissing her and he briefly starts undressing her, in the heat of the moment, you know he is feeling horny, but she resist a bit because it's a public place; "not here"...
Finally they arrive to the white room or a motel or whatever, but it is a properly lit room.

That being said, I have never watched a porno and thought: "this would've been so much better if they turned some of the lights off" :p

Darkness and porn just don't mix IMO. But I see it working as small part in movies.

Moving on. Trying some other settings could be really fun.

Bath

Gym

Prison Cell

Locker room

A Beach

I'm only judging the scene with Nikita and the one with Briana.
Those were the ones where I liked the girl enough to experiment on something that kinda looked like an epic fail from the start. /haha :p
On the bright side they were not as bad as I thought they would, but to be honest they wont hit my favorites of the year any time soon.

A dark setting makes scenes unwatchable imo (and so do dirty seemingly uncomfy sets). I'm not buying a single poorly lit release.

Far too dark and gloomy. You can hardly see any detail at all - even on the trailers you can tell the lighting is awry.
I certainly won't be wasting my money on scenes where half the action is shrouded in darkness.
Sadly given this company's utter disregard for the opinion of their paying customers, I doubt anything will change.
Darkness and gloom are now the new norm.

Oh look it's Edmund, and what's this, yet another comment about LP's disregard for its customers... shock horror

If you stopped to think before regurgitating the same remark, you'd realise these new locations are the result of them listening to feedback from members; people have been complaining on the forum about every scene being shot in the white room, consequently LP is trying something new to mix it up for us.

Then you should be right at home, this is the gist of your forum contributions :p

As for these new sets, I have to agree with what's been said. I love that you're trying something new, thumbs up for that, but the lighting so far has been really poor. I'm scratching my head as to how the directors can shoot these new scenes and not notice the issue while filming  They need to address this asap because the content is suffering.

My second issue is with the underground/dungeon type room with the red brick walls, I'm really not a fan. I agree with the comment about it being dirty and uncomfortable looking. Call me old fashioned but I feel a room with a bed would be a million times better than the awkwardness this room projects. From the two scenes I've watched so far, both of them seemed impractical and limiting in what can be achieved in that room. I don't think I'll be purchasing anymore scenes shot there, the last two have been very disappointing for me.

I don't want to be purely negative because I'm truly grateful that you guys are trying out new things, but the lighting issue first and foremost really needs improving.

I liked the white room setting :-) Well in my new spirit of positivity I'd like to agree with virtually everything you've written, apart from your now embarrassingly servile, but hallmark genuflection before the LP directors.
Look, we customers pay good money, so I see nothing wrong in being critical - as you clearly don't. But I'm delighted that you study my postings so assiduously - as least someone is. I can't reciprocate the compliment, however.

There's nothing wrong with being critical if it's constructive, repeatedly stating LP disregards it's members is obviously not, it comes across as bitter and childish when you've read it for the umpteenth time.

I'm not sure you properly read my comment regarding the role the directors are playing either, I made it quite clear that I can't comprehend their lack of acknowledgement while filming. Referring to me as "embarrasingly serville" and insinuating there's some form of deep respect on show is somewhat misplaced. I'm sure your use of language sounded good in your head when posting, but it doesn't reflect me.

If you would like further confirmation of my stance on Gonzo's directors, read my post in Luiz's thread. If we were talking about Giorgio on the other hand, you may have had a point ;)

" repeatedly stating LP disregards it's members is obviously not"
Disagree. I think LP has a willful disregard for the wishes/suggestions of it members, particularly in terms of content - and in my experience, at least never responds in writing to any forum criticism.
As regards billing and technical problems, they are scrupulously correct, no question.
"umpteenth time." Hmmm. You exaggerate. Maybe once every couple of months depending on the issue, but like you, I have a life. And I don't obsess like some on here, just comment when I feel it's applicable.
Tip: Disregard my postings! The world will continue to turn on its axis, no fear.

I feel my thread was kidnapped so, here I am, rescuing it. :p

Over the years I have seen a few porn scenes themed around inmates/prison.

And I know some of you will scream "rape" right away after hearing the word inmates in the context of porn,
but I think if the performers depict it in a horny way and with just a pinch of realism, the outcome can be very erotic and hot.

Image

And in that gif you can't tell, but even though the place was pretty small, they did a great job hiding the light source.

Another thing that I liked a lot about that scene, was how long and how often she was fucked in the bend over position.
That position is one of the more difficult ones, because not all girls look good doing it. This one did, and the director took advantage of it,
cause he made her do it 4 times, to our great pleasure.

I'm saying that because, I often scratch my head and wonder why the director made a girl do a position, she can barely do and doesn't look great while doing it,
because there are literally hundreds of different positions to choose from. Why not experiment during the photo session with different positions and look the ones that make her look the most beautiful.

Also worth mentioning, Legalporno tried this theme before with the 10 on 1 scene featuring Nikita, but the role playing element was gone almost immediately
and the lack of a proper prison setting pretty much neglected the whole psychological aspect of it,
because the dudes in that movie didn't even bother to pretend like they just escaped from jail
and therefore explained why the scene took place in the white room rather than an actual prison,
they were just basically wearing the outfits and proceeded to do their thing as normal.

So my point is, if you do a different setting or add a special outfit, there should be a roleplaying aspect to it as well.

Don't mind little bits filmed outside or before the actual scene itself. For me I like to think that LP keeps the 'white room' or studio as its primary setting and doesn't break away from that. The thing about the room is you know it's a LP scene, when I see things filmed on a beach, public etc it just reminds me of cumlouder, Bangbros introduction of girls for first 20minutes of a scene.

Just watched the trailer of Nicole Sweet scene. The introduction in the corridor looks quite nice. It's white, lighting and contrast anre quite good. Also it really looks like an abandonned hospital, more interesting than a fake bricks room.

Well,
Giorgio Grandi wrote:I think porn is a emotional purchase.

And I agree with this. Prison cells, shabby tenements and brick walls have dark and negative meaning, bad emotions.

Porn like love and sex should be beautiful: nature, luxury Interiors, fancy cars.

From the list I like Bath and Beach. I assume as Prague is landlocked there might be a problem with finding a beach :D Spa or jacuzzi or anything with water will do as water is relaxing.

I also suggest: Zoo or pet shop, Football field, Classroom.

im not here to buy and watch (bar)...(tunnel)... (gothic)...(outdoor sunburn camping)...(erotic) porno. don't make it worse, please just go back to the same as before. and one more thing, you shoot some purchasable scene today release it after three or six month , you just keep people waiting, to me there's no logic in that.
Pointing to Gonzo
let me have faith in you again

This Scene Was Perfect if There's any More of Nekane Bring it on

Beach would be good but as someone else mentioned CZ is landlocked so that maybe rather difficult!

Poolside
Woods
Park bench - risque in know but i love public sex. The thought of 3 of our gorgeous girls side by side riding on the bench in everyday clothing would be smoking sexy
Bus
Gym (as already mentioned)
Office Environment

I am glad LP is starting to mix things up. Enjoyed the strip club scenes but not the Areana one - much too dark and claustrophobic for my liking
