I'm happy you guys are finally getting out of your comfort zone. Here are some thoughts though.
A dark setting doesn't necessarily makes the pornos better.
Porn is mostly carried by visual channels and if, for some reason you can't see everything well, it gets a bit frustrating.
I been watching videos on the topic "how to shoot a movie in a dark place" and for the most part,
you place a lot of light sources, but cleverly disguised to trick the mind to think it's a dark setting.
At the end of the day, cameras need a lot of light to produce a good quality video.
I think you guys could use some dark settings, to add a small plot element to some movies, for instance:
The scene starts in a dark alley kind of setting, where a man picks up an escort babe, eventually he plays and fondles her against a wall. Something erotic looking.
Kissing her and he briefly starts undressing her, in the heat of the moment, you know he is feeling horny, but she resist a bit because it's a public place; "not here"...
Finally they arrive to the white room or a motel or whatever, but it is a properly lit room.
That being said, I have never watched a porno and thought: "this would've been so much better if they turned some of the lights off"
Darkness and porn just don't mix IMO. But I see it working as small part in movies.
Moving on. Trying some other settings could be really fun.
Bath
Gym
Prison Cell
Locker room
A Beach
I'm only judging the scene with Nikita and the one with Briana.
Those were the ones where I liked the girl enough to experiment on something that kinda looked like an epic fail from the start. /haha
On the bright side they were not as bad as I thought they would, but to be honest they wont hit my favorites of the year any time soon.
