Honestly - the sets-that-melt-into-the-background are the way to go in porn. Like, far into the background.

NRX had a gorgeous looking set. But, when you got right down to it, all it really was in most scenes was a black couch on a wood floor. They put all the design - all the stuff that makes the place look like a fantasy - right into the background.

Even Legalporno only had a small time-frame when their set was just perfect. During the Nikki Hill BBC DAP scenes? And Kira Gold's BBC DAP scene? Lots of white. Have the furniture pop out. Cut out the bullshit.

No dressers full of dildos. No art posters. No fancy Goddamn fucking furniture. Just keep it simple. Keep it straightforward. Let the focus be on the girl.

Some of the raunchiest porn I've ever seen shot were in parking lots - in what appeared to be flooded/unused basements - in spots where you look at it once and you never have to look at it again, even though that background and setting bleeds into everything else in the scene.

Don't get smart with it.

GonZ0_24 has got it right. Just the basics. They could brighten up the background maybe, replace the black with white, but all things considered, this economical set-up beats tons of the others. It's straight-forward. It's basic. It looks kinda dirty. It lends this feel of danger to the whole thing. Like, why is this girl in what looks like a backroom with a curtain drawn over it?

To shoot wet content with a white background has no sense, there is not enough contrast to even see the pee. Even the brightness cant be exaggerated, we are not in 2015 anymore.

I will probably erase anything white in any location of my shooting.

As far as the talent goes - the beauty draught that OF brought has hit all studios. But, at the end of the day, that is still just your preference. There will come a Gonzo girl who will knock your socks off. Then what? The entire studio is amazing again? I already said it, but there's more to it than this.

It's absolutely fine to have a preference for certain things - or even to not notice everything that takes place in a scene. To have your preferred beauty and talent standards - of course. But, just because you don't care, doesn't mean that it doesn't matter.

I don't enjoy pissing in a scene for example. It could be expunged from all porn forever going forward and I would be way happier. But, just because I don't like the wet scenes, doesn't mean that they are inherently bad. Or that they don't bring in some considerable revenue for the organization. So - it all kind of goes together.

Preferences matter. As does voting with your wallet. Just remember that there are some things at play you might not realize (like how I didn't know that shooting on a white background detracts from a pissing scene) and that there are certain elements that are beyond the people who are running the thing's control as well.

Including the available talent on the marketplace.

I've known for a long time that my tastes and yours differ, but I would never have guessed that the girls aren't the star of the scene that you want to highlight, but rather that the main thing on your mind is how piss turns out on camera!? This explains everything for me. Thank you.

As someone who couldn't care less about piss I have always had the option to simply not buy scenes from your studio, so that's perfectly fine for me. What's been happening lately however is that you seem to have taken over Gonzo and in doing so turning that iconic studio into yet another variation of this apparent "piss is the only thing that matters" mentality. I primarily feel sorry for models that get duped into believing this studio had anything to do with Gonzo and that reputation of quality hardcore that name stood for. This has nothing in common with Gonzo and therefore shouldn't have used a variation of that name, is my opinion.
