"Maybe a bit a tattoo girl overkill last few weeks?"
This may sound ironic, since in another post I foolishly wandered into this week, I was defending the site's right - on principle - to produce such content, even though I have no real interest in it) but my impression is that rather than tattoos (eg. Chrystal Sinn is far more inked), it's more the case that there's been a 'pee scene overkill' here over the past few weeks, which could have crowded out many scenes not featuring that.
In such a market squeeze, brand new performers in particular (Sharlotte debuted less than a month ago) without an established following that will buy anything by their chosen star, will have suffered.
That's my personal impression from scrolling through the new releases section here every few days. So I have felt an outlier in cheering for Sharlotte here in such a context. Sharing a passion for a performer not producing that content seems to be going against the grain of the site atm (I'm trying to avoid the metaphor 'swimming against the tide' for obvious reasons).
Sharlotte is gorgeous and her one-on-one debut is my favourite scene here this year. Already said why above. Everything clicks and ticks the boxes. Performer/performers, performance, production. Not yet mentioned (photo above hints at it) but the way Sharlotte connects with Dylan Brown is fun too. He seems to have what one might call classic 'Mike Chapman qualities' with new and inexperienced performers. Humour, patience, tenderness, performance consistency. Giorgio paired them well for her debut.
So what to do? I'm not going to go the route of criticizing pee (and other extreme) content, or even the amount here. Freedom of expression etc. But if my suspicions about the reasons behind the sales situation you mention are as I have said, it presents that same dilemma for the site that has always surrounded the issue or producing that content:
Which is how much is too much? And how much the presence of that content helps the site, and how much damages the site?
Not enough niche and/or extreme content and the site doesn't feel it's differentiating itself enough from the competition to stand out and survive.
Too much and the site become a 'no-go wet and extreme porn ghetto', which keeps non-extreme performers away because they don't want to go pee or extreme (and there should be never be an expectation on any performer that they should), or more broadly worry about their wider professional reputations/image within the business from being associated with it.
I'll follow and support Sharlotte if she does well here or not, because when you are a fan you are a fan. It's a loyalty thing.
And based on the performances she has delivered here to date, it's clear she could (easily) burn down any US site she chose to work for.
Covid restrictions won't last forever (Czech Republic has had a terrible time, which is sad and must be hard for residents), and when intercontinental travel becomes an option again, the landscape will shift and options open up for everyone again.
But I am hoping for more scenes with her here, so we shall see.
