They really are taking the piss with this kind of ticket price. It basically shows what contempt they have for their customer base and is based nothing more than pure greed.

I've never understood this sort of logic when it comes to marketing and selling. Lets sell something at twice the price to only half the customers, whereas if you sold it at half the price you'd probably sell it to twice as many customers, if not more; thereby making the same or more money. It's perverse sales logic that permeates all areas of sales and industry in all kinds of businesses. It's the same kind of bollocks you get with Apple and other "high-end" products. They're all the same cheap shit made in the same factories in China with the same productions costs; yet they whack a high price on the product just so they can appear exclusive to a certain kind of pretentious rich consumer.

It also has very little to do with supply and demand, demand for porn is high obviously, but the supply via the internet is vast; so on that logic alone they cannot justify such high prices. They imply that supply is low, when this is clearly not the case. If they want to disenfranchise their establish customer base, they're going about in the right way; and I can't see it attracting many America consumers when they have so many cheaper alternatives already. Also high pricing only drives the average porn consumer towards tube sites and illegal file sharing.

Anyway, that's my little rant over with, moving on before some pedant accuses me of being "off-topic."

Fair enough if people want to complain about the high price, but they're posting across various threads instead of concentrating their fire.

So Apple have a unique product. Nobody else makes Apple or Apple-alikes. If you want Apple you pay, or you pass.
You might hate and avoid Apple, but they became the most valuable company in the world.
You can buy Maddy's first DAP scene with AJ, or you can pass. Same as Apple.
Plenty of less well-known actresses at LP with great scenes at lower prices. Many customers will prefer them.

Will LP's pricing strategy for "big name" actresses work? IDK.
People can and will speculate because they want to see LP crash and burn, but we don't know.
We don't know what the scene cost, LP don't reveal how many units they sell, and no-one knows how many units LP might have sold at a lower price.
So we'll never really know how successful LP's pricing is.
But we can watch and see how well this scene sells against e.g. Veronica Avluv's scenes and the Vampires scenes.

For me the case is simple, she isn't in my type and will not buy this scene anyway and any further . Yes can't disagree this video is a little bit overpriced but there are some people who can spend such amount of tkt's. It's like Avanfurwet said - smilar story with apple . As long as LP will not increase price of other scenes to pay those "big names" I don't have any issue.
