I went into the video adjustments in VLC and adjusted the brightness (increase a bit), contrast (increase a lot) to look more like a normal LP scene, at least to my eye.

In fact, just now I dropped the whole video into Final Cut Pro, clicked the auto-color adjustment, and it basically made it perfect. Maybe I'll render my own version and offer to sell it back to LP for a few tickets

And another thing - the volume is too low, too. Which is also fixable.

I hate to complain, because this scene is just insane. But if I can make it look & sound better using my media player, I know the guy who edited the scene could have done the same, with better results.
