I didn't want to comment because I only saw the trailer and thought "this one is not for me" and moved on. My reasons were pretty similar to dpconnoisseur1 in regards to the pain levels shown by both actresses.

I am sat in the middle camp on this really. I def observed discomfort on Crystals part on a number of occasions and was practically shouting at the screen at times.
