Anyone find it curious that May Thai is extremely popular on this forum (30 pages of posts, over 1,000 comments) but here sales don't really seem to reflect that. Her highest ranked release was her debut which is at #35 solo scene of 2016.

Does she just have a small dedicated cult following? Doesn't quit add up to me. We'll see if this break and comeback wets everyone's appetite. Can't wait!

This post seems to have come out of nowhere. While I'd loved to see May in more Gonzo DP DVP focused scenes, AFAIK we haven't been screaming for her at Gonzo lately.

Gonna say what I really think today.

Her first Gonzo scene was poorly edited...I complained about it at the time. Her 2nd scene I thought was great. Third scene I liked too, but as Dap-a points out, no DAP and had the oil gimmick which might turn off some customers.

As usual, when a model isn't "supported", blame falls on the model. The studio is blameless. If Gonzo can't figure out how to showcase May, I'm glad Giorgio has it figured out.

Is May right for LP? To me, not any longer. I think everyone wants to see stars do harder stuff but there's a saturation point as well. I had hoped her Patreon would help broaden her appeal and the transition to softer porn but she rarely posted so I guess it felt like too much work. May has an Evelyn Lin feel to her and I think her market is playing into the girlfriend fantasy. Still May is such a beauty. Lily Thai was the last who had face game like May does. ^ I believe May has other, serious, plans in life. Modeling seems to be a side job while she studies. When she works, she's all in 100%. We've been lucky to have her here at LP for so long...not just for her work ethic but also that she still sells (apparently, Gonzo not included).

Guaranteed, if she came to America and went all in on porn she'd be huge. Asa Akira huge. But that's not the path taken. Frankly, I'm kinda glad for that. I'd hate to see all the sweetness squeezed out of our gorgeous Venus.

Looking forward to her next batch of scenes to be released. You never know when there won't be more.

I think the porn viewing public in general is firmly split between those that follow girls and those that follow acts. Sadly on LP I think the number of "act" followers outnumbers the number of "girl" followers. There are acts I enjoy and like, but I won't simply buy scenes with them in because of that, I have to like the girl and be into her. I guess I am old fashioned in that I imagine what it would be like to fuck the girl in the scene that I find attractive. May Thai also did evolve from that point on, and that quite a lot. Only later after more than 1 year there came that carer flat point. This said she has other carrier plans, too.
