Yep, Russia's Political leaders have made the country quite fucked up and corruption is rampart.

My own experience in one of the trips to Russia, and our tourist bus had a little crackle on the front window so Police stopped the bus and said that because of that crackle the bus was unfit for Russian roads, but if we paid they would let it slip past their fingers same time i was looking outside the window and the cars that passed were all pieces of junk, one even had a door missing

Most of the Russian people i met were nice thought.
