My Review of Giorgio in 4K

Recently been going through my Giorgio files to organise them a bit and wanted to give some positive and negative thoughts on his work since the switch to 4K.
First off to say the switch to 4K has made a big difference. For some reason GG’s earlier scenes seemed always much blurrier than the other LP stuff which I found frustrating. Now his scenes are sharpest and look amazing. In fact so much it is as if the earlier material no longer exists (specially as LP shows no sign of rereleasing 720 scenes in higher definitions).

Overall positive:
GG has released consistently great material. Technically well shot and beautiful with incredible hard sex and great models.

Overall negative:
Giorgio you cost me a LOT of money to buy nearly all your scenes :-)

So to the different points I want to make.

Fisting!
Very good to see so much anal fisting and it makes a great addition to everything else.
What I particularly like is the number of models we have seen anally fisted and some of the situations. Please though, fisting is not just a box to tick sandwiching between the lesbo start and the guys arriving on the scene. It is better when incorporated in the scene with fist as an alternative to penis. The high point here was the Dominica/ Jureka scene where Jureka took a standing fist/cock double anal. Wow. Very creative.
Please keep with the fisting and with fist/cock DPs and double anals or alternate cock and fist entries.
Also VERY impressed that the static fisting is being added to with some “punch fisting”. Very erotic to see a woman repeatedly penetrate another woman with her clenched hand again and again.
More of this please. You now have a great number of girls who do this and realise that if they can do double anal they can at least take Dominicas hand (she is great btw)!

Double anal:
I am on the fence here. This is the main thing with Giorgio’s work.
On the one hand I like to see SOME double anal but one of the main reasons I may skip a scene is when it looks to be mainly DA. For me aesthetically double anal can look very nice with a woman who can take proper thrusting but even then nothing beats hard strong single anal. Scenes which are mainly double anal I find look the worse for it. It is not necessary imo. Let us have some DA and some DP but the balance needs to tip back a bit to hard deep anal (with gapes and A2P).
For me, double anal good but balance a bit off at the moment (not in percent of scenes but screen time per scene).

Prolapse:
I know some people love this but I do not. I know it will stay but this is one thing I hope we can keep to some scenes and not others. I want to appreciate the amazing gaoe of someone like Rebecca Sharon, not how far she can push her colon out her asshole.
This is the one act I see as physically harmful amd I woupd rather did not occur. I am realist. I know people want it and you will film it but please remember many of us delight at gapes after hard anal, not prolapse.


Mike Chapman:
Going through the 4k scenes I realise how good the Chapman one on one scenes were. If you have forgotten go and remind yourself of Mike with Cathy Heaven, or Rebecca or Roxy Dee. Hard balls deep anal. Energy. Passion. A different feel to these scenes.
We need them back. We also never got a Mike vs Nataly Gold one on one and that would be special!

Cumshots:
Appreciate the variety but facials are the staple of porn for a reason. They are super visual. I applaud more facials and less “swallow six loads” endings which are only so so. Make a mess!!!!

Scenery:
I like the extra sets and the effort to film elsewhere such as on the stairs. Lighting always has to take priority though. There seemed to be an experiment with more natural colors (sasha zima and rebecca sharon scene for example) but personally I like the usual bright fantasy lighting.

Pissing:
I know this will ever be back where it was (and I think Giorgio overdid it at one point) but it was good to see the occasional wet scene. Haven’t seen one for a couple of months so I hope these haven’t stopped.

No GG Christmas Orgy!
Come on Giorgio, it is time to make an annual spectacular. Get a couple of friends to hold other cameras and let us have a ten girl anal/DA special GG style! Hell give us alternative edits and by all means it does not have to be for 1 ticket like LP main studio. We would pay good tickets for this!

Giorgio has masterfully honed and crafted the art of DAP scenes into brilliant masterpieces!

To me, his inclusion of extended cuts and prolonged sessions of Double Anal with beautiful women in all the perfect positions is what sets his work apart from all others! Leaving his work unparalleled and without equal

1/ Picture quality is ok, finally Giorgio managed to have almost perfect exposure and penetration is well it, although I have to adjust colors and contrast to my taste.

2/ Previous anal fisting was weak, but now fisting with Dominica as a fistee is TOP NOTCH. Her double anal fisting or fisting two girls at the same time is unparalleled.

3/ Double anal - The length and maybe intensity of Giorgio's DAP is what differs his from other studios, I'll keep that or even make it more intense. Definitely more gapes without pushing would be welcome.

4/ Prolase - no thanks. I hate when Giorgio says girls to push out their assholes when gaping. To produce good gape you must relax but not push which will produce prolapse or semiprolapse.

5/ Single part scenes could be longer (ie 60 min.).

I released a couple of scenes with more "classic" (as you intend) colors (GIO381, GIO373, GIO372), and I do not like it anymore. I also think DSLR colors are more natural with less "saturation", this make the video on a big 4k television more pleasant and less weary for my eyes.
This is not a pornographic trend for sure in gonzo market (even if I do not consider what Im shooting as gonzo anymore), but is a trend that includes most of video production nowadays. No reason to make a step back.

I think Giorgio is making the some of the best 4k movies I have seen.

The models are simply stunning in scenes in that staircase with the sun coming in. I finally got an Ultra4k TV with OLED and I love all the grays in the background and details on the models such as the black stockings and jewelry.

Giorgio, don't change a thing.

Completely agree, besides the unfortunately constant DAP, my biggest complaint is the soft lighting that Giorgio uses that completely washes out flesh tones and makes a woman's pussy the same color as her chin. Other studios use naturally lighting and actually has flesh tones, but this is the main reason I do not purchase as many as Giorgio's scenes as I otherwise would have.

Dogfarts picture AREN'T screencaps these are PICTURES took with a photocamera (gallery pics) they aren't from the vids (its like the gallery pics you get from LP vids, they aren't from the vids they are from a photo shot done before the vid).

Depends on the equipment he is using, may or may not be HDR capable. Also, high end equipment is very expensive, can easily run into hundreds of thousands of $$$, so I can understand holding on to older equipment before an upgrade to get the most out of it.. and there is also a learning curve when you have new gear.

Yes, it would be nice if the coloring could be improved a bit.

Also, the 4K-Fomat could be changed to H.265 instead of H.264 to reduce the file aize to ~50% at the same quality. Every device that plays 4K should be able to play H.265.

This week I started to experiment with 'remastering' some of my favourite Gio scenes. I was going for Sineplex Mexico level colour 'Pop' and deeper blacks. This was done simply using freeware (Avidemux 2.7). The biggest drawback is it takes about 6 hours per hour of 1080p video on my aging Intel Core I3 processor. This may push me to upgrade to an new I7 rig to do this in 4k.

I did a screen cap of the settings if anyone wants to experiment themselves or share settings of their own. I am still experimenting and may back off the 1.25 saturation a bit but so far I really like the results when projecting the image and also watching on my plasma TV.

I threw this together real quick but I think you should be able to figure it out with these steps.



NOTE:
* We are not adjusting audio so leave the audio settings alone (leave it as 'copy').
* We ARE remuxing and outputting as an mpeg4 avc x264 mp4 file

Here we go:

Step 1 - Contrast (be sure to pick what is shown in the drop downs) #8 is the slider bar to move to frame to see how your adjustments look. Click 'OK' to save your changes before closing window.

NOTE: for most of Gio's 2017 files all I had to do was click on mpeg2 > pc to auto adjust contrast -- that's all, nothing else (for contrast/brightness). The file used for this tutorial, GIO171, was his first 4k scene from 2016 and was horribly under exposed and required the additional settings you see here.

Step 2 - Contrast adjustments window (Note: I unselected Chroma as it took away some of the yellowish tint to fleshtones - this may not be needed for 2017 Gio files).

Step 3 - MPlayer eq2

Step 4 - MPlayer eq2 adjustments window (Note you can see adjusted image on the right side). This is where we adjust color saturation (and optionally tweak brightness)

Active filters list shows filters and their adjusted values

Configure (for file size)

Save (part 1)

Final step - Name and save file

^ Forgot to mention. For file sizing I tried to match to the original file's size to keep quality the same. You could go lower if wanted but I think that risks image degradation/pixelization if compressed too much.

I got to thinking. With 4k it might be x265 output. I am not certain...I've only been working on 1080p x264 myself.

Also, you could do a sample clip first...use the edit function to do a short clip. Editing is easy too but might need another tutorial . there are some easy to follow editing in avidemux tutorials online though.
