Anyone been thailand and how did they find it?

Hot and humid. Absolutely fantastic food(stay away from tourist restaurants, street vendor food is the bomb, and remember spicy=fire), people are very nice, and watch out for tourist traps. Other than that, remember, just like anywhere else in the world... they do want your money.

I went there for 4 days, just for kicks really, its a lot like my Mexico, but with better roads.
The only reason I went there was to rent a supersport bike and ride fast on them highways, which are twisty and nice.
There are so many motorcyclists is so awesome.

I would love to go again but the airplane ticket cost is a bitch. lol.

Was there three weeks ago for 10 days. I have a girlfriend over there so I visit quite often.

I love the country. THe heat gets to me at times and so I don't stay out side for long hours that is for sure. The food is great when you eat at markets and local eateries. Lots of spices you don't get in other parts of the world. The people are friendly (even if they don't like you they hide it).

Don't insult the monarchy, you will have a lot of problems for yourself. It is illegal.

Don't have porn on your computer in case they search your things, porn is technically illegal over there so you could face fines or denied entry. I take a travel laptop with me then access my online cloud drive where I store porn if I want to watch stuff on wifi.

I don't care about the sex industry there, but it is pretty fun if you hit the bars in the tourist areas. Lots of young THai girls hit the night clubs and just look for guys, and most of the restaurants and bars will have a few girls hanging out for drinks waiting for someone to approach them.

Lots of temples to see, worth seeing a few of them. Many beach side resorts and are fun and relaxing.

Touristy areas raise the prices on food and dining, but its pretty cheap away from that to eat.
