Global Economic Downturn Actually Leads me to Buy More Porn

The global economic downturn (well at least in the US where I live) actually leads me to stay home from distanced vacations, which ultimately leads me to having more saved up to use for porn. I was actually concerned about this scenario back at the beginning of the year, but I fear no longer. I still have my job and salary, but not everyone can say that. I'm thinking the people that are still employed and are white-collar workers, they might save more since they are now competing with AI for their jobs along broke consumers generally. So, while they are not going on expensive vacations, they still have to be entertained and that's where porn comes in, which you can still buy a great amount of porn for just a couple hundred bucks. That might offset some of the losses from people who lost their jobs.

With sad news though, it appears that EKS is leaving the platform. She didn't say the revenue was the problem, but the payout. But if the revenue was so good, then the payout percentage wouldn't matter as much. She also stressed the change of policies, which might have something to do with all the smaller studios being visible. I actually like being able to login every day to a store filled with porn. Too bad that it always seems like there isn't always enough money going around. As much as the bringing back of visibility is a good thing for us consumers, I do feel like the big studios need to be protected. THEY ARE TOO BIG TO FAIL. I am from another Westernised, developed country (not the US), and I get what you mean about the global economic downturn.
In the past, I could make 20-30 posts in a day, every day. But nowadays, I am making only 10 or so every 2-3 days.

The reasons for this are related to work and family time, I need to spend more time on family for personal reasons.
Also, work is ramping up to a level that is unsustainable. Every department meeting is about cost cutting, ways to seek new revenue, obtaining new grants/funding/outside investment.
There are higher numbers of redundancies than ever before, they remove the more expensive, more experienced staff and replace them with new graduates who are young, single (so they can spend more time on work).

I too am getting to a stage where the cost of living crisis is taking its toll, despite being totally debt-free e.g. no mortgage left on house, no car repayments outstanding, no credit cards or loan debt. I find that my incomes are just about keeping in line with my expenditure. Often, I am digging in to my cash savings.

As further ways to streamline things, and to minimise very high outgoings. I have sold one of the family cars, we are shopping more at discount stores rather than premium supermarkets, we will not be having a family holiday this year for the first time since the major global financial crisis of 2008-2012.

However, that said - my partner and I have grown a strong connection with LPAV/PornBox, in particular for certain studios....so we still buy a lot of porn on here.
I say it again, I think the best, and top tier studios are wise and prudent to tighten their belts. If you don't make 2+ releases every day, and only make 3-4 top releases a week, then that is okay.

Yes, the inflation is crazy and I'm at borderline 6-figure income. When I was growing up, that was considered the lower tier of rich. Now, it's just middle class. Fortunately for me, I purchased my house when interest rates were low and houses were cheap. I'm paying my mortgage based off of that. Now, because of the lower demand for houses now, I'm between a soft place and a rock. On one hand, we can expect prices to fall, hence, I will pay less in property taxes. On the other hand, my house is worth less and it's not a house I want to live in forever. I do want to upgrade and the more my house is worth, the better it will be when I sell.

But yeah, we have inflation and A LOT of layoffs from high-paying jobs. And another thing too, the national debt is out of control. We're way more like to hit $45T than to hit $30T. That means more programs will have to get cut and less money flowing.

With that said, I'm trying to save and make money on the side. I still need to be entertained, so porn is the way to go. Way safer and cheaper than an excort.

Seems also true a bit for me living in Europe.
It's holiday time, more free time to spend with a cut back travel budget, still traveling, though: But yes, I also spend more $$$ on porn this July and August than in previous years I guess.

There are still talks going on as far as I know - and I hope Erika Korti can reach an agreement with Pornbox powers.

For sure Pornbox has become like a cheap second-hand supermarket for 15-25y old scenes shot far outside LP or often condomized amateur porn. But users can differ between these studios and have usually set up their own feed - eliminating all this crap.

I'm waiting to see what happens with EKS. I think there should be a studio in Prague similar to EKS and Yummy Studio, especially similar that the latter. Yes, a new Gonzo o something like that.

Yummy Studio and EKS often use this formula: gangbang + naked + dap + piss. And in Yummy's case, they included quite a bit of rimming until last year, making them, in my opinion, In the best studio of the two.

However, Yummy Studio is practically out of Pornbox now, and we have to accept that.

But if the last studio capable of replicating this formula goes under, EKS, then it no longer makes sense for some of us to continue here.
