Are they back to normal, as seems to be the case?

Can anyone explain what the problem was, 'cos I haven't got a clue.

Netzer, no they are not back to normal and I wouldn't expect big productions soon. There is some small underground shootings going on, mainly in other towns than the police raids were, thats all.

It's too early to say what happened, sure it was a lack of co-op by main players to put it mildly. But basically it doenst matter now.

I've just seen the new sex act going rates and they went down tremendously. This means it's not really faisible for local girls to work locally in porn anymore. Current fees are a big opportunity for new players to enter and shoot porn at very competitive rates, but given the raids it's a big risk.

I actually considered trying something locally, but decided against.
For the moment it's better to support a few nice girls to get out and work for much better pay in EU. It's the more idealistic option, maybe not good in terms of business, but profit isnt everything left in life.

Everything I write here is just a summation of what I've heard from elsewhere in this forum.

Erika Korti Studios (EKS) has relocated to somewhere in Europe (I forget where right now). So, they're going to try to essentially start over again with brand fresh new talent all around, both male and female. So, essentially, it'll be EKS in style, but with a whole new batch of girls. Which ... would have happened in time anyways. Just that the girls aren't Russian. Still Eastern European though.

Nick Whitehard and NRX seem to be gone as of this point. Like, everybody's laying low, so there's no telling what's actually going on. But, like Dap_addict just mentioned, the rates seem to be much lower at the moment. Meaning, the professional shoots have probably stopped. Nick hasn't mentioned anything in the longest time. He went from King of the Mountain to in hiding - and wherever he is - he probably knows that he can't just show up in Russia again and be like, "Hey guys! I'm here to shoot porn!" So, in terms of the absolutely visionary level productions he produced, we probably won't be getting any more of that any time soon.

As for the Russian talent - there seems to be interest by the South American studios to bring them over. Brazil is a BRICS nation - so the pathway to actually showing up won't be a gigantic headache. There was hope that the girls would've gone to Europe, but seeing as the War that's going on, that opportunity pretty much is nulled out. So, all of that absolutely incredible talent is going to stay locked in Russia for the time being. They could show up in Russia - which is the dream - but ... I have a hard time seeing that happening.

First off - that's a big undertaking for the Russian girls. They pretty much have to upend their entire lives to do that. Is that worth that for porn? Key words there being: worth it. Which brings us to the next point - NRX paid some really high-end rates - which all of the Latin American studios don't do to the same degree. Which is one of the reasons why they found a solid foundation of success. So, with both the relocation half-way around the world and the rates just intrinsically not being the same, don't suddenly expect Sasha Paige and Eva Barbie to start shooting Natasha Teen productions entries.

Which is a shame. Because they were two of the biggest and brightest stars in porn over the past decade, pretty much. The other girls were all knock outs too. I mean - there is a movement to get the Russian girls over to South America right now. I believe one made it already. Maybe they will get more. But, to expect all of them to show up, or even a lot of them ... it's probably best to temper those expectations.

We can always hope though.

you have to be stupid to do porn in a country in which is illegal to do porn

get a citienship in a country in which is legal to do porn and do porn there

if someone does porn in an arab country for example, they are asking to get arrested
