Because what we have now is many threads with some few missing scenes listed, which is an invitation to Pornbox powers to check only on these scenes, but not the 99% not listed ones. You may also add the Pornbox studio scapegoating, while it's clearly Pornbox guaranteeing buying customers that the scenes bought will always be available in Pornbox for streaming.

Me, I got stolen about 800 DAP scenes alone, worth up to 8000$.

Why do we LP etc scene collectors allow them to do that to us?
What can we porn users do to get our payed content back?
How to get Pornbox powers to an explanation and a timeline of restitution?

Because Kapwns explanation that scenes needed to be reviewed when actors were missing sounds very fishy - after Pornbox not caring much for full actor lists for last 10 years.

Its not pornbox, its the studios who are removing them, they wait a little bit, then they repost them as they were recently filmed, i've seen this a lot from LATIN TEEN studios for example.

There does appear to be some central process at Pornbox which is flagging videos for 'review' and removing them, however equally it seems that if a studio isn't responding then Pornbox support seems powerless to reinstate them. Either way, the claim that 'the scenes you purchase 'are yours forever' is clearly false, as it appears both studios and Pornbox can remove them whenever they want, without informing you.

The removal of scenes, without informing you, and without compensation is absolutely shocking business.

Glad to see discussion of this does not go away.
I am furious and disappointed at the handling of this whole situation.
The only way they will react is if users stop buying en-masse.
Which means ensuring other members understand that their content is not safe.
So, let’s keep this topic top of the active list until it’s fixed.

In addition to the targeted deletion by Pornbox employees and the deletion by the studio, there is another point.
Many videos are lost due to technical problems at Pornbox.
The internal backup (if there is one at all) also apparently does not work in many cases, as the lost videos often cannot be restored.

I find that Pornbox can't restore videos because there's no backups a bit strange. Wouldn't the producer still have the native video in their archives? I just don't buy that explanation for not being able to restore videos.

These videos are easy to identify: these videos are not deleted, but displayed. However, when you try to play or download them, you will see an error code.
Had this happen with dozens of videos.
And yes, the studio could re-upload them if they even knew about it and wanted to, because that requires manual effort.

The scene with Emily White has already been uploaded 3 times, the last time by a different studio (probably the same studio by a different name) I would understand if it was an extended version, but would the same scene come up every time? Another reason why this site was destroyed

You're right about Latin Teens, it's basically become a scam studio, same with Anal Teens. But in general scenes being removed is a result of Pornbox taking them down for "review". According to a number of producers there are certain "guidelines" that scenes have to meet in order be on the site, but Pornbox will often allow the release only to remove the scene a short while later. When producers query this with Pornbox they are told that the scene has been temporarily removed pending review, and once it passes it will be reinstated.

The other big problem this creates for studios is that most of the sales come in the first day or two of release, so when Pornbox removes a scene and reinstates it sometimes up to a week later, that scene is way down the list of releases as it's a week old, so nobody buys it. It's an absolutely crazy platform.

And this benefits the Pornbox owners a lot because the price they pay to studios for these scenes are based on an algorithm based on first day sales only. So by takeing the scenes down for alleged review again, they make sure thy have to pay the original scene owners much less.

This said what is with all the old scenes like even one of those Gonzo X-mas scenes, which get deleted and not re-posted again?
Why is that done?

Could the reason for Gonzo and other dead studios are removing their content as the studio is not alive anymore and perhaps the content owners are planning re-releasing the stuff in other platform in the future? It would not be the first time that has happened.

If I bought a scene, I expect it to be there.
If a scene has been removed, I expect it to be back in due course.

When you buy a scene, it's really porn currency. If it gets deleted then you should be entitled to a refund.

Yes, if it gets deleted and there is no way of restoring it. All customers who bought the scene should get a refund...in terms of porn currency e.g. tickets.

Ok, but what we need is a time frame for such a refund!
So far they claim they try to restore the video but for some scenes we already wait 5mt.
For me 30 days maximum time waiting for restoration of scene would be reasonable.
