As an econ major, I can't help but to notice a bad business decision when I see one. The decision in particular is Rebel Rhyder releasing a GIO scene on the same day that GIO is releasing a scene of Rebel Rhyder.

I don't have access to the financial information, but I believe the best way to maximize profit is for GIO and Rebel to coordinate so that a big star like Rebel doesn't have to compete against herself or other well-established actresses.

I also kind of believe that since Rebel films fewer than the number of weeks in a year with GIO, she would maximize her profit by releasing her scenes weekly. That would maximize her profit. As a fan, I have to admit
that if I purchased a scene of Rebel yesterday and the day before yesterday, I'm less likely to again, buy another scene today. If she spreads it out more, I'm more likely to buy them all. I really don't see a reason why she would
rush to put all of her older scenes on Pornbox. Rebel is freakin everywhere, so I know she has plenty of money flow from filming.

You have to remember, Rebel Rhyder releases, on average, like two scenes a day, every day. I'm not joking, it's absolutely nuts the amount of content that girl pumps out. She pretty much has to shoot porn like 10 hours a day, every day, to fulfill all the scenes she's doing.

I don't know how "wise" it is from a business perspective, but from an audience retention perspective, it kind of makes ... a lot of sense.

I know that every day, guaranteed, when I show up here, I'm going to be seeing Rebel Rhyder getting DAP'd by at least five guys. She'll probably throw in a one on one scene on the odd days and shoot for any one of the other hundred fifty studios on the even days. In a way, she kind of ties the entire network together.

They might as well call it Rebel Rhyder studios.

And if you think I'm being snarky and smart - that's really not my intent. I do think it's a good idea to have some consistency to the site. But, yeah.

I think Rebel is a great actress and really gives 100% in every shoot but we are seeing a lot of her and she is also rereleasing scenes on a daily basis that have already seen. Is it getting hard to find new actresses Giorgio?

Is it even possible that the actress would be able to handle such a work schedule? Shooting a very hard DAP scene one day, a classic anal and DP scene the next, and a hard DAP scene the next day? I'm not an expert, just asking. I think that in reality the anal DAP scene must be very demanding and very painful for the actress. After a scene like that, to shoot another DAP in two days must be painful, the anal after several hours of intense fucking from several huge dicks must be very broken and the woman is in trouble. My girlfriend and I also do anal, but when it's harder, she has trouble going to the toilet or walking. Well, I do not know.

For the last two months every release on her own "studio" has just been a re-release of a GIO scene anyway. If she were releasing her own content then sure, but she isn't at the moment so it's pointless.

I'm a believer that every scene that a studio releases should be unique. With that in mind, if I were her, I would remind people of the older scenes every week. Her releasing GIO scene 1234 yesterday and then scene 1234 two days later and then scene 1234 five days after that might not be a good look. But... it's not like we don't know anyway that the scene wasn't fresh and she's just reminding us about that scene. For me, I guess in that case, it might not be the worse thing in the world.

Rebel Rhyder is clearly a workaholic. I do worry about her burning herself out. Especially when she does the wet scenes. As much as I personally enjoy them, I understand that it takes the fun of having sex for the huge majority of women that films at GIO.

GIO has recently said that the market has changed somewhat, if I recall correctly. Not all hope is lost, as we do still see new women.

As much as I love Rebel, I do admit that I own a lot more of her scenes than I otherwise would have because of the lack of content that's out there for me to consider lately. Rebel scenes have been consistently fun over the past few months as she tends to have great studs in her scenes and the vibes are great too.

Yes, Rebel films with multiple studios and does many genres, I agree. With that said, I think "two scenes a day," is a massive overexaggeration. She probably does maybe 100 scenes a year, so that gives her the opportunity to release not even every week if she wants to spread her content out equally. Keep in mind, that the majority of the content she's involved in, she doesn't have resale rights to, so she's limited in what she can release.

And sure, I totally understand the balance between the business side and her releasing content to keep her fans happy.

Also, I don't know what happened to the recent Part 2. GIO did release a Part 2 yesterday and I was fortunate enough to grab it before it went away. I personally like the Part 1 and Part 2 editions that GIO does. Yes, from a business perspective, the average revenue between the 2 will be less, but given that both parts can be completed in 3 to 4 hours (I'm guessing that it's at least this long and it gets edited down to 2 1-hour scenes) in one session, I think it's worth it. It gives fans something to buy on the second day and it adds an extra layer of convenience for filming.

As has already been noted, the other scene is a re-release - people have already had 1 year and 6 months to buy the other scene, so this doesn't look so much like competition to me as a complimentary thing - 'Hey, if you like this new scene, maybe you missed this earlier one'?

We're getting an increasing amount of reissued scenes - all the major girls at Giorgio's studio seem to re-release under their own banner now. As a punter I'm not hugely happy with the situation, as it means every time I'm thinking of buying a scene now I have to double check it hasn't been on sale before - it's already tough to navigate this site whilst wading through the thousands of releases, and duplicate scenes just adds to the clutter. That said, at least Giorgio is being transparent about these being reissued scenes, unlike some other studios.
