We cant let the forum die

Forum needs to stay alive. Best way to read wishes of the community.

The development that has happened here...the actual discussion and commenting has decreased drastically and at the same time the forum is filled with endless different polls and the likes. This is sometimes more like some kind of sports forum. It's hard to judge why. Are people so satisfied or have people left here?

I still think that (though not directly related to this forum) it's a big shortcoming that you can't directly comment on a single video. However, I have noticed that more and more porn sites have introduced comment moderation, which does seem like a ridiculous exaggeration and effectively kills natural commenting. Is it that the comments are filled with inaccuracies, or more that the site administrators want to censor critical comments? Now the comment sections of many porn sites are the same song of praise for every single video. No credibility whatsoever! I was kicked out of a certain payment site after the admin informed me that my comments were so negative.

I am still fighting for that prominent TOP of the landing page link to come back, but indeed it seems management doesnt like to listen.

Reasons might be two: They want the forum to die down - and here sure we cant give in!
Or: They plan another webpage, one even with scene reviews!

Most important for the moment is that we still have pretty many posters and we even got new old ones activated again!

There are many factors, one of them is the "hide" the discussion button on the bottom, this will decrease the new users in the forum because some of them just will not notice of it.

Other one is the lost of good critic and interesting users who used to apport some common sense and variety. Now we have a rise of trolls and users without common sense who are posting everyday content without no point, refloating posts, and destroying the discussion of different threads.

Some changes (policy and/or material offered) during these years did that others users just stop their activity.

The lack of moderation and the lack of communication with the moderation and directors makes the forum be like a bubble.

And i guess than others surely share my current situation, who have been here for a while, just are a little bit "bored" of all these reasons and lost some a little bit of iniciative to post more regulary.

The forum looks still very much alive to me. It clearly provides in a demand, and it enlarges the customer loyalty to pornbox.

The whole website is poorly administered. They're obviously not employing anyone competent to administer it. I imagine someone from the porn shooting team is acting as "web-administrator". What they really need is a competent web-administrator and a competent content administrator. Someone like me for instance for whom English is there first language. The scene descriptions and tagging remain shockingly bad.
Changes have been made to the home page that appear to have not been thought through. I agree with the complaints about the forum link being removed from the home screen; it doesn't make sense. Also the wording change on the Store link doesn't make sense. Yes it used to make sense, it just said Store. Then they added the word Clip to make Clip Store. Grammatical it makes no sense because the store has full length video scenes in it, not clips. Yes there are short crappy amateur scenes being posted there which qualify as "clips", but for the most part these are full length scenes.

There are maybe some issues behind the scenes with GT Flix that we're not aware off. I hope these are bad signs of the eventual failure of the whole network. I was disappointed when they removed the ability to comment on Brazzers on scenes and models. I'm not so much bothered about moderation of the website, because the content and quality of the studio out-put is more important. The studios need to be making more effort to retain the top quality girls like Jolee Love and not lose then. This at the same time as recruiting new girls. The whole mind-set needs adjusting. It can't always be about the bottom line and "what sells", there has to be quality and an appreciation for artistic endeavour. If they continue to sink to the bottom line, it'll be the death-knell of the whole enterprise.

I seem to have serious problems accessing the forum, and posting.
When I do so, it takes 5 minutes, and then nothing happens before an error page comes up...

There appears to be a bug causing the forum to ban IPs without discrimination. It's been happening for 3 days now already.

A sense of community is important for businesses nowadays. In today's world, a client is 10,000 times more valuable than a buyer. You want to have focus on long term costumers, not in the one time buyers. So it would be a massive economic mistake to remove the forum. It is far more profitable to moderate it once in a while than removing that sense of community for long term clients. If they care about money they will just keep it.

What's happening with the forum???, i can't access since the last week. Is this the end, or they are just trying to get us bored about the forum?.

Use a VPN/Tor or if you have a dynamic IP, just reset your router and you will be momentarily able to access the forum again.

What is happening (apparently) is that the forum for some reason bans users IP addresses automatically at random points. It is annoying but with this workaound it's somewhat usable till they fix it.

Situation seems ok in past half hour. But LP should be honest with us, is the forum over or was there a blip? Just tell us, it would just be common decency.

Same here. The forum makes me want to watch scenes. Sometimes you know about new girls or a great performance because of the forum. I think the forum is healthy for pornbox.

I doubt they're doing it deliberately man, just server problems I'd guess. They've probably just got one IT guy frantically googling shit to try and fix it lol. It happens.

Hey, this also happened to me when loading threads with many gifs etc. There seem to be some overzealous security measures in place that are recognising users as a threat for loading all that content in threads too quickly, thus resulting in banning the individual user's IP address. So the forum is up, but you get blocked from accessing the site temporarily basically is what's happening.

Per Giorgio (and that's fair statement) porn is already dead. Then why some, any forum should survive? No matter how cool place it might be. And anyway, at the end, nobody cares about anything.
