The answer is emphatically, NO!!! I still want to solve the problem of filming as many Latinas as consumers would be willing to purchase. I'm tired of the main option being NTP with their terrible camera angles and sexual positions. Also I assume the lack of resources to develop these models. I think NRX-Studio did a great job initially of shooting scenes with stories and really showing off models beauties at the scenes start. I don't believe they have, there is just a majority of consumers on this site that enjoy scenes that used to be disliked. The directors are just going to go where the money is and businesses are in the business of making money. I just hope every once in a while I get a scene that I can enjoy watching. Ok I have done some more research on the topic and there are quite some articles about, also some threads on rddt and other forums. Of course it heavily depends on how popular a model is, but a general rule is the camsite takes 50% of the earning (from tips or pvt shows) then the studio takes 25% and 25% are for the model.
The earnings seem to vary between 500$ to "a few thousands" a month. Other sources say they realistically generate around 300$ a week, which means 150$ for the model. So most probably don't get rich by webcamming but they can earn their monthly salary, which they otherwise can't, due to the lack of jobs. Many worked for tourism/hotels/gastronomy, but due to the pandemic the number of studios and models drastically increased. Some hotels are even used as studios nowadays.

There is something I haven't considered, it seems like there is a distinct boundary between "webcamming" and "sex work". Which kinda makes sense, pleasuring yourself and masturbating as a model is something else than fucking strangers + it is one thing to have your wife or girlfriend being nude and masturbating in front of a camera or having sex with another man.

I don't know how much a local porn studio (like NTP,LTP) pays a model, depends on the action probably and the popularity of a model. Sorry, forgot to mention that the statement of the 300$ generated came from someone who runs a studio, so I assumed he ment that is what he gets and half goes to the model. But yeah there are probably models who do much less. I don't know if they just lose their job then, try other studios or in any way improve their shows.
Probably you are right about the sex act based payment it seems to be common practice. I don't know how much colombian models are aware of the industry or common practice though. If an unexperienced model gets an offer to shoot a scene with 1 guy doing anal and gets 300$ there and the next time it's 2 guys and dp and they offer her 300 again and she agrees it is what it is. Would be common sense to ask for more money though. But yeah financial dependancy unfortunately often leads to exploitation, especially if there are more models willing to shoot than there are producers.

Generally I would say there are no to a few ambitious producers or people considering shooting porn anymore. It is unlikely for someone foreign to try to set something up in colombia I guess. I was just thinking that current colombian studios have much more potential when it comes to recruiting. Currently NTP releases 1-2 scenes in a week, while the "substudio" lancelot styles produces roughly 1 scene a month.
LTP releases about 4-5 scenes a week with often recurring models.

Imo these studios are lacking a bit when it comes to production quality (Camerawork, Lighting, Positions, Action, Video Quality in general). Quality has constantly decreased the last years of the current studios, but at least there is some new scenes and as long as it pays the bills and customers take what they can get if there is no real competition. Gios same style scenes of the past years never really catched me, Gonzo is less than a cheap copy of itself, while russian studios are completely struggling. Yummy seems to take over.

Hard to imagine a new "player" will enter the colombian market soon, but I believe it could be possible. Otherwise maybe the current colombian studios could improve their recruiting and scene production.
