Do you think it’s true that in order to become an actor, even take Gonzo and Gio or AGO for example, a guy needs to get fucked in the ass? by nepotism through the owner or director of the studio, this is understandable with girls, but how does it work with guys, I think there are many who would like to be in the place of those who are now shooting in the studio, but not everyone would be ready to put their butt on the line for this

I don't think it is a desirable career at all and you have to fulfill some rare physical requirements as well. Dunno how it is today, but usually if a male wanted to get into porn industry he had to bring female performer with potential (sometimes more than one) to get accepted.

I remember an article (or documentary ?) some years ago, they say lot of male actors have to do gay movies to be accepted. "Gay for pay" is the term they used if I remember good.
So it is maybe not they have to sleep with director, but they have to do some gay scenes

There's a much bigger pool of male talent than female talent in the industry which drives payment down, so dudes are needing to shoot more scenes than girls to stay afloat. Studios want to work with reliable and experienced studs so part-timers who get their income elsewhere are unlikely to be getting calls. People will pay for gay porn so there's money to be made starring in it.
Put these together and it's pretty much a requirement economically for male stars to be gay for pay. If studios are requiring it then that's just smoothing out the process for them.

Strange twisted homo-bashing question.
To work as a stud on porn set you have simple to be able to do it. And fact that some of these actors did also gay movies says nothing but that they wanted to earn more basically. It's their choice, as simple as that.
Anyway, best way into porn for a boy is still to bring along at least 1 desirable girl willing to perform what the studio shoots.
And no, no nepotism, but simply too many boys applying for performer jobs but not fit to do it. If they bring a girl at least she can compensate for the time lost with that (usual) failure rookie stud.

There was a documentary at National Geographic, 10-15 years ago, with Vivid owner, talking about many things in porn. And one of them, hiring the boys.
